Probably depends on each individual state.

Unfortunately it has never been done and doesn't appear to be authorized. CRS

Possible by impeachment with 2/3rds vote by other senators.

Not going to happen, we are stuck with a cuck

Not possible.

Only way they leave office is:

Lose reelection
Retire/resign
Death

Before the 17th Amendment, senators were appointed by the state legislatures and served at the pleasure of the state.

Because some state legislatures got deadlocked, the foolish 17th Amendment was passed. They should have just forces a popular senatorial vote only in the case of a deadlock. Instead, they crippled the biggest power of the states.

Depends on the state. Louisiana, for example, has no such mechanism. The legislature could give us one, but they won’t.

It died when Lincoln subjugated the South. And the 16th amendment enshrined it. A total loss for the Founders' vision of states rights and federalism. Little known is that northern states invoked states rights as much as the south did until after the 1850 compromise

just a few states have it in their state laws that representatives can be recalled

most states dont have that and are stuck with who they elect until the next election

Are you suggesting a trip to Mr Big/Kananga's alligator'd drug farm..without a magnetic Rolex Submariner to help escape?

All I'm suggesting is that Louisiana doesn't have a legal process for recalling a US Senator.

As a side note, Louisiana does have a large alligator population.

Isn't that a hungry-looking alligator?

not presently due to the 17 amendment that says Senators are to be elected by the people. Prior to the 17th, senators were selected by state legislatures. At that time state legislatures could recall a senator.

Not they couldn’t. Not since the 17th amendment was passed.

No member of Congress can be recalled, regardless of what is in any state’s law.

The only way a member of Congress, rep or Senator, can be removed other than in an election is by death, resignation, or by 2/3rds vote of their respective chamber.

Sorry it was the 17th amendment. Is that Preston v. Brooks? Great choice

I fail to see how the wording of the 17th Amendment bars states from crafting a recall process, especially when multiple states already have one.
