*Have kids and raise them and put them in the best position you possibly can that they may take it from there and notably and noticeably improve the world and leave it a better place than they found it.

Of course the question then becomes what constitutes “notably and noticeably improve the world,” but we’ll leave that for the morning shift.

these anthropomorphic attributes are far fetched.

I like it because if it were universal there would be peace, clean air and water and a much better building code and my HOA would do more about the barking dog.

Seems odd that our meaning is to validate the glorification of an omnipotent creator.

I see my “meaning” as contributing to a society that ensures a future for our species.

My purpose is to have as many enjoyable experiences as possible through responding to my needs and desires.

Think you have your wires crossed bruh. Jesus was no omnipotent creator, he was just a dude, a very very remarkable dude.

My answer: to become close to Jesus.

Do you agree?

But he was also the Father, the son and the holy spirit. The son of God. But also God himself.
Or depends on your denomination. The Cathars believe we had an evil God who created the world. His son was the good God, Jesus who saved the world from the evil God of creation. They were wiped out 700 years ago though.

The universe is a computer simulation. It is a giant hologram. Some of the leading physicists believe it and there is some scientific evidence to back it up. I hope that helps Auburn fans deal with the harsh reality of their existence. Maybe, any moment God will hit the reset button.

After all, Jesus said that we are to die one time (Hebrews 9:27).

I absolutely believe that a particular and unique Individual only lives one time, NW; and then "the judgement" and manifestation of one's personal 'heaven' (or hell) reward /punishment for an infinite degree of particular individuals, all with varying degrees of judgement. I ask myself what a world like that 'heaven or hell' might look like, and I think it would have to be just like what I now view. Of course, there are likely "many mansions" in our future 'heaven' wherein Evil is unable to hold great sway. Even Jesus was tempted, and it was His innate goodness and Knowledge of Truth which enabled His victory over Self/Ego/Evil.

I don't sweat this issue, though I do realize benefits that such belief holds. Primary one being that I am unable to "judge" any individual upon their beliefs and actions in THIS life, as the experiences in this life may be the impetus for a 180 degree reversal in the next. And with the Mercy of Jesus going forward, the sky is the limit. Think of the Thief on the cross by Jesus.

The whole issue is whether a single life determines one's ultimate character. Since 'Adam and Eve' left the 'Garden' to know the WHOLE TRUTH and therein make an educated choice re their true nature, I simply believe that such an education process requires far more than a single life. And being that Jesus said that "you will do things greater than I have done", I assume that he was telling the truth.

There is a saying that if you want to know the true nature of an individual, give them power, and you'll see the fruits of their real 'self' manifest. IMO, we move forward toward the acquisition of Knowledge and Power, and for some, they will chose Love and the service therein, while others will choose Love's Opposite, and worship/value their Self as did Satan.

We could talk forever, and likely will. God speed.
