electoral maps would tend to disagree.
Real politics are highly correlated to geographic realities-oil & gas along the Gulf for example, seafood, agriculture, etc... The internet is dominated more by nothingness and red meat bullshite like Trans issues and "white supremacy". The stuff people like to bicker over because bickering is intellectually easy... Virtue signaling is a dopamine rush.
Frankly, I wish we discussed Louisiana politics more on this forum. JBE has had moments that makes Joe look like Winston Churchill and it barely gets attention here.
But none of us are intelligent enough for you Hank, so why dont you leave and post some place where your boundless intellect and uncorrupted conservatism are appreciated? Like your mother's weekly bridge game.
