The media is out of control

Democrats are willing to win back power no matter the cost.

It’s taught me to hate China and I now know some states will become authoritarian in the midst of a crisis.

1. I have saved a significant amount of money not going to bars for a drink to watch a game, eat out less because of the hassle, my gym memberships have been postponed while they are closed and I have found other ways to work out, buying groceries and making do at home is cheaper.
2. Given the above, I miss being social and that has a price I suppose. I miss sports greatly.
3. Ive learned to get creative with my kids and keeping them entertained. That has been fun.
4. Ive learned that people were and are not ready for social media. Its decisive and nasty and people don’t know how to use it or decipher news from stories. I suspected it before.
5. I like tequila.

That free speech (and the First Amendment in general) has become a myth in the age of Twitter and Facebook. I just saw on Tucker where a doctor got his video taken down from You Tube because it "violated their terms of service." In other words, this doctor was saying things contrary to the WHO.
Facebook is taking down pages organizing protests against the lock down because, as Mark Zuckerberg put it, they're spreading "misinformation." I'm also amazed how many politicians and media types are welcoming our new totalitarianism.

That some people only care about sounding like the smartest, most morally superior person in the room. I’ve seen some people that this time last year couldn’t stand JBE now hanging on every word he says and saying the rest of us are selfish, foolish, all around terrible people, etc. for wanting to open back up or bringing up that this virus isn’t nearly as bad as predicted.
On the flip side I’ve seen people who can’t stand Trump, the GOP, and anything remotely Republican flipping on the Dems and preaching about personal responsibility to stay in or go back to work/open things up, and calling this an excuse for the government to make a huge power grab. It’ll surprise me if some of these folks keep the same attitude in the voting booth though.

There are far more pussies on the right than I ever thought.
I thought Liberal white men had that cornered.

Our country is doomed. It will take another Revolution to bring it back. Things need to get much worse for that to happen, but it is the path we are in. 2-3 generations away.

This has taught me that seemingly smart, successful people totally lack the ability to think for themselves.

Trump haters don’t give one flying frick about the American common man.

The concept of risk is not well understood by the masses.
The media sensationalizes stories by magnifying and distorting the reality of situations like this.
Many people are not aware that there is nothing new under the sun. Infectious diseases have emerged, infected and killed many people for centuries. We now are to live like Hobbits because the media screams about the “case fatality rate” much greater than the flu; when in reality, it likely will kill less people than flu overall and less per case.
Democratic Politicians think hating Trump is More important than their constituents having jobs and a life of freedom. We shall see if this is a winning strategy.
Trump talks too much sometimes, but so do all politicians.
Pence is a professional.
People wear masks to “feel” something. I don’t know how that “feeling” Benefits them, but unless you are intubating a patient with pneumonia, you probably are ok to walk in a park and certainly drove your car without a mask.

The people protesting show me that Americans are even dumber than I thought. The pointless protests should be left to the clueless liberals.

I realize after the last few months. This country doesn’t have the stomach or strength our grandparents had. If this was a true war instead of a virus the liberal left and media wouldn’t allow for a 100,000 deaths even to secure our freedoms.

That the country is full of a lot of folks worried about dying.

1. Do not trust numbers given out by the government or media.
2 Politicians will do anything to ruin the other side. Even if it means ruining our country.

That if we had the present politicians and citizens of today when Pearl Harbor was attacked we would all be speaking Japanese.

1) Americans in general are pussies.
2) I need to get out of NYC and move back down south ASAP.
3) Cops are as terrible as I thought they were, they are not the common persons friend. They 100% will comply with orders to take guns when that day comes.
