I don’t hold that against him. He was either in office or a foundation employee for most of his adult life. He was 80 years old and still a congressman.
Most of us start out poor. Those of us in the private or public sector end up millionaires these days if you include our retirement savings.

The guy could barely speak. He was a coward on the issue of bipartisan pro war foreign policy. The ONLY reason he was venerated was because he got beat up by White cops on the Edmund Pettus Bridge and was a Black man.
