Well, after several weeks of wall to wall coverage on all the MSM propaganda outlets, it’s been dropped like a hot potato.
Hard to know for certain but by all accounts Vlad seems to be doing fine and roughly every two weeks we are sending additional billions to Zelensky.
Bono had a concert there, our establishment bozos made sure they took some photo op opportunities over there and in the meantime we are planning on eating bugs and being told that everything non-admin aligned is a direct threat to “our democracy”.
I think the recent heat wave is the greatest threat ever right now.
Oh, and monkey pox didn’t quite take off so our old friend Covid is making a dramatic return as we gear up for off cycle elections.
Just another week in Idiocracy. So who knows for certain.

War? It is a money laundering operation, and I assure you, it is considered one of the greatest successes by many in this country. This special operation will continue until the Democrats are no longer in charge.

I guess you could say China is winning the war.
Supposedly, right now those Leninist-Marxist "purists" have tanks in the streets there attempting to prevent people from withdrawing their money from the banks.
Can't seem to get this capitalist thing right.

The National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine revoked the licenses of eight TV channels and two TV providers of the Media Group Ukraine, owned by the country's richest man Rinat Akhmetov. These include Ukraina and Ukraina 24 channels, which were among the most-watched channels in Ukraine before Russia's full-scale invasion. Akhmetov earlier announced he decided to give up the licenses. By doing so, he seeks to avoid being officially classified as an oligarch in Ukraine. According to law, one of the criteria to be labeled as an oligarch is having considerable influence over media.

Ships that carry Ukrainian farm products will undergo inspection when going in and out of the Black Sea, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said on Friday.
He said in accordance with the agreement signed by Russia, Turkey, UN representatives and Ukraine in Istanbul, a joint four-way coordination center will be created, which will inspect ships exporting Ukrainian agricultural products.
"Inspection will be carried out both when they exit and enter the Black Sea," Shoigu said. The purpose of inspections is to prevent transportation of weapons and ammunition and rule out provocations, he said.
The minister also said that security in the territorial waters of Ukraine, including antimine measures, should be provided by Kiev. The minister said Moscow expects that the responsible implementation of the measures stipulated by the agreement will help to increase world food security.
"The signing of this document was made possible thanks to the active mediation role of Turkey and the UN," Shoigu said.
A package of agreements aiming to help with food and fertilizer supplies to global markets was signed on July 22 in Istanbul. Under a Russia-UN memorandum, the UN undertakes to work toward lifting anti-Russian restrictions that hamper exports of agricultural products and fertilizers. Another deal sets forth a mechanism for exporting grain from Ukraine-controlled Black Sea ports. An agreement between Russia, Turkey and the United Nations provides for an establishment of a four-way coordination center to inspect ships with grain to prevent weapons smuggling and provocations.

The 100th Territorial Defense Brigade from Lutsk refused to take part in further hostilities as part of a special military operation due to heavy losses.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to successfully move forward, and riots are ripening in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"There was a riot in Lutsk. At all times they were suppressed very harshly - usually it ended in mass executions. They decide to riot out of desperation when people realize that nothing good awaits them ahead, and the chances of surviving are minimal."

Ukraine confirms strikes on Antonivsky Bridge in Kherson. Ukraine hit Antonivsky Bridge in the occupied Kherson with artillery overnight, severely damaging it. The bridge is one of the two crossings over the Dnipro which Russia uses to transit military personnel and equipment to the territories it occupies west of the Dnipro River, including Kherson.

The Kherson Region is preparing to hold a referendum and the region will soon become a full-fledged constituent entity of the Russian Federation, a deputy head of the region’s military-civilian administration said on Thursday.
"The Kherson Region will forget about neo-Nazism already in the near future. We are getting ready for the referendum, we will hold it. I hope that in the near future already we will become a full-fledged territorial entity of the Russian Federation," Kirill Stremousov said in a video published on his Telegram channel.
In mid-March, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that the region was fully controlled by Russian troops. A military-civilian administration was formed in the region in late April. The region’s authorities indicated their desire to accede to Russia by holding a referendum but have not yet decided on its date. Earlier, Stremousov told TASS that the Kherson Region’s authorities supported the idea of the Zaporozhye Region to hold the referendums on the same day.

Members of the Azov nationalist battalion who were kept in a correctional facility in Yelenovka were providing statements that Kiev found inconvenient, Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin told the Rossiya-24 TV channel, commenting on the recent Ukrainian strike on the facility.
"The plan was to stop them from giving testimony. In fact, they - I mean, the Ukrainian regime - took cynical steps, simply deciding to kill those people. Their statements are of particular interest to our investigative bodies because they make it possible to figure out how high the level of complicity of certain commanders, including generals who gave orders, and even as high as officials from [Ukrainian] President Vladimir Zelensky’s office. This is the evidence base that will be crucial for upcoming tribunals," he pointed out.
In the early hours of Friday morning, the Ukrainian military used a US-made HIMARS rocket system to shell a pre-trial detention center in the Yelenovka settlement where captured Ukrainian troops are kept, including members of the Azov battalion. According to the latest data released by the DPR Territorial Defense Headquarters, the attack killed 53 Ukrainian service members and left another 75 wounded.

The war developed into a stalemate across a wide front where neither side moves very much. The fighting is fierce street to street combat in little villages as well as massive artillery barrages. The media loves a showy shock & awe blitzkreig with rapidly moving armies. This isn't that. The Ukrainian War looks a lot more like WWI than it does WWII right now. It's just a meat grinder consuming young men over tiny amounts of territory.
