The media is masterful at crafting public opinion which always in on the side of the left

The captured media always puts out reports of polls getting tighter as election day get closer.

What happened?
The abortion pissed women off (many of whom were suburban and "soft" Republicans and who thought to themselves - "well they are just saying that about abortion to placate the hard core people, that won't ever happen in real life")
And boom, the calculus changes. Plus things are getting better in many areas, gas prices down, unemployment steady (more or less), etc.

That’s a very good rendition of how the left hopes it is and will be, but personally I believe they’re gonna be pretty good ways off the mark, as usual it seems.
