If this, presumably weak, binder malarky is phase 1, what did they expect (yesterday when setting today as the release)phase 2 to be? They didn't even have multiple phases last night.

Look, I support this administration, but I don’t understand the logistics of this DOJ document release if going into it AG Bondi knew that NY FBI withheld some Epstein documents.
If NY FBI had them all along (or discarded them), who attached to the Bondi desk actually put eyes on the documents, knew their content or that they were missing, directed their release (which didn’t happen), etc.
Hopefully, there is more and better information to come, but first shot out the gate is sloppy, disappointing and underwhelming.

Bondi can't release something she doesn't possess. She has either released everything that can be released so far.. or she is a liar.. nothing that I have seen would support that she is lying.. Sure, people are unhappy, but again, she can only release what she has been given.

I suspect that the JFK details will be very similar. The FBI/CIA etc has had 60 years to get rid of anything truly damning.. maybe they did, maybe they didn't..
TLDR: IMO Bondi has done what she said she would do, but there isn't much of anything in the files she has been given. We shall see if the FBI turns over the rest.. or if someone comes forward with more details. It is all speculation (on both sides) until that point in time.

SFP only has power when those opposed to him have nothing convincing to counter him with. He can’t argue his way out of anything if you know what you’re talking about and have the legitimate facts in your side.

She said she didn't find that out until a whistleblower called last night and told her that the FBI was holding other documents.. I believe that to be a true statement at this point. She has been on the job about 3 weeks.. that isn't much time to do much of anything.. especially in DC.
At that point, she is damned if she does.. damned if she doesn't..
Her two options:
1) Do what she did and release all that she had.. leaving people pissed that there is nothing new here..
or
2) Come out and say the FBI is blocking the release and we will have to push it back to some other date. This wouldn't have gone over well at all.. and it would have been substantially worse than Option 1 imo..
She can only hand over what she has..
