Well, you know these kids today, they like putting stuff up their butt. They butt chug beer, shots, vodka soaked tampins, and so on and so forth. I suppose it somehow enhances the experience. Called it "mailboxing" back in my day.

I am shocked this was leaked out. This sounds common in Miami. The articles say he was thisclose to being governor so they probably had to leak it

Candace says the local paper says he went home he lived nearby but he was really escorted home. It sounds like there was no way he could make it home on his own.

If you arrest people at the sites of overdoses, then people will stop calling for help and just leave a dead body laying around. That is what happened before they stopped arresting people for calling ambulances or taking people to the hospital.

This is for Tennessee:

quote:

As the opioid epidemic continues to sweep the nation, lawmakers are becoming more conscious of the risks of drugs and criminalizing drug activity. While it is possible to face drug charges after overdosing in Tennessee, there is a Good Samaritan law that may provide some relief for those seeking medical attention to help a person who is overdosing or even to the person who is going through the overdose process.

The law states that any person who seeks medical assistance in good faith for a person who is currently overdosing shall not be charged, arrested or prosecuted for a drug violation if the evidence for such criminal proceedings would be based on seeking and receiving such medical assistance. This law applies to bystanders witnessing such an overdose or the person who is experiencing the overdose. However, for the person experiencing the overdose, the immunity from prosecution and criminal charges only applies to the person’s first such overdose.

LINK

It's actually a good policy. At least 40 states agree.

quote:

Initial results from an evaluation of Washington State’s Good Samaritan law, adopted in 2010, found that 88% of people who use opioids said they would be more likely, and less afraid, to call 911 in the event of a future overdose after learning about the law.

Good Samaritan policies on college campuses have also been proven to encourage students to call for help in the event of an alcohol or other drug overdose.

LINK

Not everyone that overdoses or is around someone that overdoses is a drug addict or POS. If someone ODs at a house party, do you really want the police to come and arrest everyone there? If your kid ODs in your house, should you be arrested as the owner of the house? Police shouldn't even be called to ODs unless EMTs suspect there is foul play involved.

How did the police let him drive home if he was so drunk?
Or did the police drive him home?

Wasn’t there a 3rd male in the room? This is wild. I guess Stacey Abrams is happy she no longer has competition for the DEM rising star designation. What would have made this even more wild was her being the 3rd person in the room!

The man who paid the gay escort with his credit card showed at 11PM at night. Yet the escort said he knew Gillum. Was this a 3some ruined by an OD?

It's very nuts. I actually don't think I've ever heard of a worse such situation. Male escort, blood and feces, bags of meth strewn about, a half naked wasted Andrew Gillum, oh yeah an overdose. I'm probably leaving a couple of things out. But the worst part of all....that family pic you posted. This will stick with those people forever. Which sucks because again, this wasn't any normal gay sex rendezvous gone wrong. So much unfortunate detail. Whether it completely accurate or not. Them's the breaks.

He was just stressed out like Clinton was one of the comments. When Gillum gets stressed out he instead gets railed in the arse by a big buff homo at a meth orgy. No big deal really.

I feel bad for his wife, assuming she was unaware of her husband's predilection for railing male escorts while zooted to the gills. Most black women have a special spot of hate in their hearts for married down low brothas.

The wife and kids are why I am shocked the details leaked. Isn't there some escort NDA code especailly a gay one? If he hadn't had Obama run with him and almost was the gov. no one would have leaked this...

Fla didn't want a possible elected official on meth. But then again I think we would all be shocked how many do meth, cocaine and heroin.

That’s a handsome family and a darn shame, but it happens. I hate it for her family and kids. I don’t think you can recover your family from that.
I hope it works out for them.
