There's nothing that the GOP can do to stop it from passing into law. The Dems hold the WH, the House and the Senate.
Hillary Clinton herself stated BEFORE the election that, if the Dems win the WH and Senate, that they would have to move extremely quickly to enact their entire planned legal apparatus. I remember this very clearly, because, I realized that she was referring to what she believed to be a very decisive political/legal event.
This bill appears to be exactly that.
No fear, though. I've known for years that this day was coming. I didn't think it would be this soon, though.

Well, if our current bigoted voting laws didn't discriminate against illegal aliens, dead people, and people that don't actually exist, we wouldn't need such well thought-out measures.

I’m confused on how they believe all of the restrictions and rules placed on the States will pass constitutional muster? Aren’t the States given the specific power to run the elections within their State lines? Doesn’t declaring that a State can’t prosecute a violation of State law violate the idea of dual sovereignty?

There's too much crazy there to get across the desk of any honest person. Same with the big spending bill. Both are steaming shite legislation and either even being a topic of discussion is proof that our representatives in Washington absolutely do not represent anyone but their guild.

Here's my guess.
Anybody from "the Right" who commits any crime that the Dems are committing will be vigorously prosecuted in the Federal Courts of the United States of America. You will be ruined. The US Attorney's Office will make sure that you are bankrupted by legal costs - and that's the least they will do to you.
People on "the Right" know this, so, I doubt you'll see anybody from "the Right" try to play the Democrat Game. Dems will be fine. The US FedGov is in on the game and won't prosecute their own. However, any "Outsider" better beware, because, you aren't "protected".

I don't put it past the Dems in the Senate to push it over the finish line. Very few of the Dems have enough honesty to call it what it is, unconstitutional. Chuck will get the votes he needs, IMO.
This will end up in the courts; I only hope there are enough judges who still retain any sense of even the slightest fidelity to the constitution, enough to knock it down.

Y'all may not wanna hear this, but this has a tremendous upside.
No consequences for illegal voting? frick it. Just print off ballots until they cry uncle. Nobody wants to look at potential concerns if you use the last election as a go by.

This will not pass the Senate and will be found unconstitutional by Supremes. The states decide how they vote for Federal elections.
