The state of our country and balance of our debt proves that men governing for hundreds of years has worked out beautifully for all of us. What a dream.

The premise of the article is that men/boys AND women/girls are struggling, but since women/girls are generally ignored, we only hear about men and boys "in crisis."

Well that horseshite saves anyone from the necessity to read any further.

I like to read. Lucky for you there are many other threads with just a tweet in the OP that are much easier to digest. To each his own.

Oh. A man thinks discussions are won and lost. Shocking.

Where men hold most of the power and wealth and have since its inception (while wanting to disenfranchise women for voting for the wrong men to govern the country). Where medical professionals, such as yourself if I recall correctly, frequently dismiss the concerns of their women patients.

And men are also the largest number of homeless, commit suicide more frequently.

Through women’s empowerment, your gender has employment opportunities not afforded to men, federal and state contracting not afforded to men, and the list goes on.

If that were true, the man-boy crisis wouldn't be discussed ad nauseum.
The only place it is even discussed is on forums, like this one, and fringe groups like MGTOW.

No one cares.

More like, "we're all suffering but people only talk about men because men are whining about now dealing with the same shite women have always had to put up with."
Were you even awake during the entire MeToo movement?

That is simply the most recent period of the world catering to feminist whims.

We truly live in different realities if you believe otherwise.

You make me think of a typical man.

Good.

We need more “typical men”.

Thank you, SFP.

She’ll probably ignore that, though.

Somehow those women stuck in those post-secondary institutions are the ones who are actually suffering.

The hard truth for the author is this premise is very false.

Wait - you're claiming these qualities (mental and physical fitness, emotional resilience, hard work, financial prudence, caring for others) are NOT gender-free?

Only brief stints, finance and retail. Finance in both places I worked was pretty female driven.

Of course my experience is limited, to, well, my experience.

How vast is your experience and in what ways have you been sex limited in your endeavors?

If churches apent half as much time catering to men as they do women and children we would have never got here. I say this as a pagan, but when the male is the faith leader the woman and kids follow suit at double the rate than if the woman is the faith leader.

It'd be interesting to draw this out in relation to women becoming more prevalent and powerful in politics and authority.

The thing is, with that flip, we all acknowledge that prior to the 60s/70s there were serious barriers for women in that area.

So how could things flip without institutional barriers for men, today?

Yes, the attributes which outline the cliche good man are not reflective of the attributes of the cliche good woman.

How about Tanzania’s current female president who has killed multiple people protesting her election?

That is such an interesting question, SFP.

Samia Suluhu

She is cracking down on protestors as harshly as any male.
