Well, if I posted the truth here I would be banned in minutes.

I'm 100% certain there will be a "dramatic turn for the worse" by Mardi Gras.

PRE-KATRINA First Term Nagin was the best mayor the city had seen in 50+ years.
Would have been interesting to see how things would have turned out with him had that not happened and he not totally lost it.

Turn to entire city into a permanent Tourist Park. Dissolve the entire city govt. and run it as a for profit business. Have Mardi Gras once every month, have Jazz Fest 3 times a year, have business conventions, football/basketball ,concerts every weekend. Casinos and legal brothels.

If you are a white person who lives in a city with a black mayor, that's your cue to move.

Driving down esplanade yesterday, I noticed quite a few Vina Nguyen signs on some of the larger homes. Surprising because she’s a republican and not big on covid restrictions. Maybe more people are ready for a fricking change around here? However, I’m sure the usual suspects (poor, brainwashed blacks/progressive white transplants) will help keep Latoya in power and continue to destroy the city.

New Orleans Demographics
Black or African American: 59.53% White: 33.94% Asian: 2.91% Two or more races: 1.92%
Move. Seriously. Anyone white remaining in N.O. is a fricking idiot

Working on it, bub. Plan on being gone no later than Q2 of 2022. Of those 33.94% white, I’m willing to bet 80% at least of those are self-loathing ,white guilt branch covidians.

Look the people there have what they want in the way of government. If you disagree they want you to move out.
End federal and state dollars to cities and perhaps they will feel differently.
The City is a place that can’t keep the sewers working or the garbage collected but pays for chauffeured cars for the ruling government class.
Why a city council person needs a car and chauffeur is beyond me. They shouldn’t even get paid.

You can't step in the same river twice.
Keep the memories, keep the recipes, keep the love, keep the music, keep the comradery.
For me , N.O. is no longer a location, it's a state of mind. Share the magic with those that matter.
Another grand city has fallen to karma. Roach motel.

I was out in the city this weekend along magazine Friday and st Claude Saturday and it’s packed with people spending money. It’s very alive DESPITE the politicians. Can you imagine New Orleans with a good, common sense, actual leader ??? Would be a phenomenal city.
