Repeal the medical device tax?
Approve Keystone?
Fix corporate inversions?

Those seem like no brainers. Purple state Democrats that join the GOP on those issues would benefit IMO.

Anymore?

I could see defunding PP being veto-proof thanks to some terrified Dems.

And definitely Keystone

I would love to see it but this issue would probably cause a shitstorm. Defunding PP needs to be tucked away on a budget deal where the purple state Dems are getting some goodies as a trade off, IMO.

Not sure any of these would face a veto.

Taxing profits made in other countries that were already taxed in the countries where the profit was made. The U.S. is the only civilized nation that double taxes corporate profits. That's why so much corporate money in sitting in foreign banks and corporations are moving there headquarters to foriegn nations.

Couldn't we fix this by simply lowering our corporate tax rate?

SOrry, but righties love corporate inversions. Anything that helps the rich in this country make more at the expense of the poor and middle class making less = Republican heaven.

A compromise bill between approval of the Keystone P/L and restoring the tax credit for renewable power generation could garner support from both sodes of the aisle and allow each side to develop soem good will with the American People.

out of curiosity, how much funding do you think planned parenthood gets?

BTW, most of that money they do get is for medicaid services. Are you saying that PP should not have its ability to accept medicaid patients curtailed?
