Grok says this is fake:

quote:

No, there is no record of any federal judge in Hawaii—let alone one named "Hoontakinchizawa" (which appears to be a fabricated or satirical name, as no such judge exists in U.S. court records)—issuing an order requiring the White House to continue federal childcare payments to Minnesota

Sounds like they need to look at Hawaii next.

FFS, that is obviously a made up name that the poster thought was cute.

Why the Frick is the government paying for childcare.

I remember when we had to pay it, it was as much as our mortgage.

yes

Hawaiian words and names are easy to spot, because the alphabet has only 13 letters.

The “zawa” suffix indicates that this name was intended to be Japanese, but it obviously was not

Yes. And there are a lot of Japanese living there as well. The point is, it wasn't "obvious" as you were claiming. Not if someone is familiar with the names they use out there.

Just a lame gotcha attempt by you. As usual.

Should freeze it everywhere.

We pay up the arse for daycare.

Why should some get it at taxpayer expense.

The announcement is not quite clear to me. Are they freezing childcare payments in MN in addition to “defend the spend” procedures nationwide or are these the same thing?

Everyone almost casually accepts and expects that there is a great deal of fraud in our government.

Could this possibly be something that causes some kind of domino effect? It may not be the be all/end all type of event but as a resent-filled taxpayer, I would love to see something similar to actual oversight and eventual correction and accountability.

I will expect little and hope for much.

They don't really have any other choice other than just not report on this at all. Which they won't do because this is yet another thing they'll try to twist against Trump as some sort of gotcha.

It's a smart move.

They won't need Boasberg. O'Neill has put Tim Walz in charge of the Somali childcare centers auditing.
