Why would you do that when Trump was president elect and DOGE had already been announced?

Yes you are correct. I am 2 hours from DC and have yet to meet a handful of nice people working for the government

Your attitude is different. Ownership me would have fired ESOP me if I had known what a slacker I had become.

Your honesty and self reflection is to be commended. Alot of people here get mad about WFH being criticized because they know they are slacking

Idk what to tell you lunatics. I work for a private company who does business with the federal government, and the federal employees who i work with are great and productive people. As I said, they actually go to work and produce things. I hope those people get raises after the leeches are let go. There's a deficit of young talent in those jobs.

It's ironic that you don't have a job yet you're criticizing people as "slackers" if they prefer to work from home.

And, you're too stupid to recognize the irony...

They won't. They'll get to work with contractors who make significantly more for the same work.

Oh? I wasn’t aware the government actually produced anything.

But paperwork, lots and lots of that.

It does exist. Outside of all the social engineering and making sure that bus stops are equidistant from populations of different ethnicities, there are some good people doing good productive work.

Tuesday (after President's Day tomorrow) will be my 3,037th consecutive WFH day.

Tbh though, I am curious who girl was working with in the gubbmint to have gotten let go. If she's bragging about being in her pajamas while working, imo, she probably deserved it.

Appears at least one post was in the middle of work day.

A small number of people are more productive at home.

This isn't all that surprising.

Certain jobs.

My job (software developer) you really can't get much done in an office no matter who you are.

When looking through code and trying to either review it, fix bugs or implement new code into it (enhancements or new features), you often need absolute silence and zero interruptions.
