It's not how it works because there's no such place as hell.

So hell must be pretty full of Hindus, Muslims, Aztecs, Incans, Hopi, Comanche, Ottoman, Mongol, Chinese, etc, etc ad nauseum right? How will I fit when I get there? We are talking hundreds of thousands of years of human existence before Abraham thought of it, thrown into the lake of fire & Sulphur. I'm fairly certain at least 1 child born today in India will be taught the golden rule, but he will believe that Cows are Holy and that he had a past life. Straight to hell according to your logic.

Why would a loving god then create people that could be cast into an eternity of torture because they didn't use the free will he gave them in the way he wanted? Awful pretentious and a-hole behavior if you ask me.
God created us to obey Him, worship Him, love Him, and enjoy Him fully. That is our purpose and if we are not fulfilling that purpose, we are defective and worthy of destruction.

God would be unloving if He didn't judge sin. What would you think of a judge that pardoned every one that came before him? The rapist, the child molester, the murder, the thief? Would you think that judge isn't just? Would you think that the mercy shown falls woefully short of the justice deserved? God is able to love us by judging sin in His perfect son, Jesus, granting us pardon, not freely, but with a heavy cost: the abandonment and death of His Son.

quote:

That gave me an idea. I'm going to make my kids play a game where I tell them the rules, and if they break a rule, I'll hit them with a punishment that never ends. Oh no, they can't choose to sit out of the game.
You think it's unfair because you don't understand the holiness of God and the seriousness of sin. The reason why our punishment is eternal is because the offense is against an eternal God with infinite holiness.

quote:

If you give me a choice: Stay here in heaven and never be born, or be born and risk going to hell. Not even a choice. Yet no one was given a choice to exist.
Why do you think we're in heaven before being born? There's no biblical doctrine that teaches such a thing.

You should repent of your sins and turn to Christ for forgiveness for not doing what you were created to do. You need to seek Christ before it's too late.

It's not him. It is Jesus hitting him with them blessings.

Unfortunately, some kid just got paralyzed in a drive by while he was smashing that upvote button though. All part of the plan to make that kid feel the need for Jesus more.

Your passive aggressiveness is enough to want to slam your head against a brick wall. Sorry I'm not a douche and let my hositility out in the open. In before the "I'm not being passive aggressive" nonsense you're about to spew.

Ok, this is my opinion but you probably don't have enough in you to make this happen....

However, you are presenting even more hostility and demonstrating an even greater commitment...

I remember suffering a great deal when I was a very small child. I guess I was just a super sinful 7 year old?
You were. I've got little kids. Sin manifests early.

And you aren't sinful because you sin. You sin because you're sinful. We're talking about the nature of sin, and you and I both were born with sinful natures and the guilt of our representative Adam already accounted to us. We need a better representative in Jesus Christ so that we can claim His righteousness instead of Adam's unrighteousness.

quote:

So letting 3 year olds die of Leukemia is really just to show the parents just how much they need JC? That's some psycho ex girl friend shite right there brother.
It's a reminder of death and the need for eternal life. It's a judgement for sin. It's also maybe even a means God will use to bring people to salvation. God uses tragedy all the time to bring people to an understanding of their need for Him.

And without God, why is such a thought morally wrong and why should I care about the opinions of other accidents of the cosmos? In other words: so what?

quote:

And he knew it would happen because HE CREATED IT. He planned it.
He did create it and plan it. The Godhead (Father, Son, and Spirit) all planned it. The Son willingly laid down His life to save His people.

What happened to Christ was the greatest tragedy to occur in history. It had a greater purpose to it. Why shouldn't God have a greater purpose for a sinner being killed?

quote:

Tell that to the Priest that I have known my whole life, who wrote a book on the faith, blessed by JP2.
I take my doctrine from the Bible, not other men who take the traditions of fallible men as being equal to (or ultimately greater than) the very word of God.

I don't but a Catholic Priest and 14 years of Catholic schooling taught me this. Jeremiah 1:5 5Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee

quote:

God created us to obey Him, worship Him, love Him, and enjoy Him fully. That is our purpose and if we are not fulfilling that purpose, we are defective and worthy of destruction.

So not really slaves, but really, really close. Sounds quite loving and benevolent.

quote:

Apparently it takes some trait I am not capable of having. Some of my earliest memories were looking around a catholic church really in awe of how everyone appeared to really believe the nonsense we were hearing.

You first, judgy mcjudge face. You should watch that your preaching and fervor don't turn into pride. You might not be casting a stone at me here, but you certainly picked it up. Might need to talk to Jesus asap. Peter in HR can set up a meeting to get it straightened out. Simple coaching session.

Here are some verses about God establishing he powers that be and rulers/kingdoms. It also states God made some for honor and some for dishonour. Hope this helps give a reference point on what the Bible teaches.

Romans 9:20-22

20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

Romans 13:1-3

13 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

Colossians 1:15-17

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

You left something off...

What about some native in the Amazon that has never heard the word Jesus?

Oh that's right. According to your words above, that person deserves eternal punishment because no one ever told them about Jesus.

So Jesus IS Geopolitical. Glad you said it, not me.
