I'm gonna throw an alternate scenario out there that is a little more palatable, and isn't completely out of the question....the days following that early November date could possibly bring us some relief in that perhaps the rhetoric level could go down substantially. Explanation: I suppose the very next day after the last election the overarching issue for Dems from which all subsequent acts stemmed was the objective of unseating Trump in 2020. That was something quite significant for the Dems to work toward.

Now, the day after the upcoming 2020 election, there is no immediate Dem meetings to strategize to unseat Trump, as there were in 2016, because he's "lame duck". If he gets the W, of course. So that not being an objective, and also considering that despite how much some of us despise the Dems, I'm gonna go ahead and give them credit of possessing the humanity that even they are tired of the angst and anxiety and negativity. So maybe we "go back" to an atmosphere where things seem, for lack of a better term, boring. The most of the bitter rhetoric and constant warring may mysteriously recede. And from THIS type of platform, or environment, or atmosphere, we might be able to take a breath and reassess the situation and our next moves, recalibrate. I guess it would even be possible that Dems may even abandon many of their previously stated objectives now that such rhetoric doesn't cause Trump campaign problems.

**None of this is to say this would be the end of all the ongoing problems, the overarching ones. They wouldn't simply go away. But with a calmer environment, and perhaps some abandoned Dem goals and plans, we can see what shakes out and go from there. I guess a fella can dream. Cessation of angst and constant negativity would certainly be a welcome thing, for me anyway.

Nb4 Tl;dr

They are, but that could possibly be put in the category of efforts to damage Trump's campaign, then ostensibly that dies off as well after it's over. That's assuming there isn't actually anything for the Dems to really sink their teeth into as far as disputing the election results is concerned. They'll have to have some outwardly justifiable basis to open up a chapter like that, which could even surpass the gravity of Mueller, impeachment, covid and riots. I don't see how either side will have that, to such a necessary extent anyway.

The media is the enemy. Confront the enemy at its doorstep. We are not there yet, but eventually, hundreds of thousands of Americans will have to congregate in protest outside of the halls of propaganda and make the talking heads a little less comfortable spewing their lies. Day after day.
