It’s a Navy joke in general these days.

FFS, the commissioned officer at my school’s ROTC program had managed to be the command officer on two different ships that ran aground. Considering his record driving school busses, I found it hilarious when one of the ROTC guys clued me in on it.

How many people in her position get fired?

I would love to see the stats. I would imagine this is exceedingly rare.

I'll take the hit and be in the minority on this one -- Could have happened to anyone.

She seemed to have talent, experience and credentials for the posting.
