Trump is getting out in front of this so that he owns the position. It’s smart. And the way he phrased it, when it doesn’t happen he can claim that it didn’t happen because his threats to defund institutions that do it scared them off.

As you've posted elsewhere? So what? Who the F are you?

How about the mistake you just made here, and apparently elsewhere, by posting that ridiculously absurd, arrogant, & embarrassing statement?
If it was so ridiculous and embarrassing, why didn’t you address it rather than duck it with all this sophomoric bluster?
What part of - you don’t crater a $25T economy, spend $5T uselessly, and turn the country over to Leftists without being absolutely certain about what you’re doing do you disagree with?
We’ve got shite tons of issues to address, but none of them bigger than how retarded and soft the Right has become.

Trump was right.
When he said that Sweden choosing not to lockdown was a big mistake?
When he said it he had good reason, and most of the world agreed with him.
Sweden's Coronavirus Death Rate Nearly Twice That of U.S. as Trump Says Country 'Paying Heavily' For Not Having Lockdown
We Need To Talk About Sweden Sweden was demonized for its COVID response. How is it faring now?
From 2020 ~
Sweden bucks global trend with experimental virus strategy (Financial Times, March 25th)
Sweden girds for thousands of deaths amid laxer virus response (Bloomberg April 6th)
Sweden challenges Trump – and scientific mainstream – by refusing to lock down (CNN, 10th April)
Sweden’s government has tried a risky coronavirus strategy. It could backfire (Vox, April 9th)
Sweden grapples with high death toll after controversially refusing to lock down (New York Post, April 16th)
All eyes on Sweden’s liberal gamble with coronavirus (Irish Times, April 21st)
Time magazine article from October 2020:
“We can predict the Swedish COVID experiment is almost certain to result in a net failure in terms of death and suffering,”

That 2x in a row you've proved otherwise.
Smart, grown up people need not proclaim it.
Get over yourself.

Exactly. Just as Jones left himself an out by saying if it doesn’t happen it’s because he exposed it, Trump will crow on Truth Social that he helped stopped the lockdowns when they don’t happen. It’s all so predictable. Easy to pull off when you have a gullible following who doesn’t question anything that you say.

The left-wing lunatics are trying very hard to bring back COVID lockdowns and mandates with all of their sudden fear mongering about the new variants that are coming
Tucker says that this is all a diversion because conservatives are expecting it. Says the real "ace in the hole" will be an open war with Russia to prevent a regime change and protect the Uniparty Establishment's money laundering state known as Ukraine.
I sincerely hope Tucker is mistaken and wrong.
The next year of our lives is shaping up to potentially be the craziest and most evil period any of us have lived to witness. The establishment is flexing how deep their roots go and showing us who is in control.

quote:LINK
By July 1, 2020, Sweden had experienced 517 COVID-19 deaths per million people, which was lower than Italy and Spain but as much as 5 to 10 times higher than its geographically and culturally closest neighbors, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. This made Sweden’s approach to COVID-19 look like a fiasco.23
That summer, the New York Times described Sweden as a “pariah state” and a “cautionary tale.”24 Reuters reported: “Sweden’s Liberal Pandemic Strategy Questioned as Stockholm Death Toll Mounts”25 and President Donald Trump dismissed the strategy out of hand: “Now, they talk about Sweden, but Sweden is suffering very greatly. You know that, right? Sweden did that. The herd. They call it the herd. Sweden is suffering very, very badly.
At the time that he said it yes. If you read the analysis that I linked above you will see that initially Sweden that in the spring of 2020 and summer of 2020 it looked like the Swedish model was the wrong model. at the time Trump made his statement the data supported his statement. Trump made his statement in the summer of 2020 and the data at that time supported Trump. The data turned in Sweden's favor in the fall of 2020 and the winter of 2020-2021. By the end of the pandemic the Swedish model was a huge success, but it would have been political suicide if Trump had used a Swedish model. Trump got killed in the media for > 200,000 deaths and if he had not followed the CDC and Fauci's advice then he would have gotten killed even more.
