We should end all student visas for Chinese students in the US

Facts - my son’s boarding school had a bunch on spies in training from China. There shouldn’t be allowed to come learn here only to destroy us

When I was at UNL there was a ton of Chinese students there. I looked at them as spies.

Not one explanation is good enough either why they allowed anyone from china to come here and be educated. Why would we allow the biggest threat to America to educate their children here?

When I was an electrical engineering grad student at OU, 50% of my classmates were Chinese, and 40% were Arabs.
And that was in the late 80s.

A lot of the Chinese visiting students lived at Selleck and smoked cigs right outside the dining hall.

You have to bear in mind that the students coming here are the elite from China, their parents run China. I would guess its not an insignificant number.
Im more concerned with faculty. They should not be allowed to do research in the US.

Yup. Still did when I was there till December of 16. The funniest was how they always drove brand new SUVs and sports cars. I remember one drove a Mercedes G Wagon.

When I was at LSU there weren’t many Chinese students that were allowed to leave China for education (because they would likely never go back home). We had one Chinese student in one of my Russian language classes. His English was good enough that he was taking Russian in an English speaking university. I considered that he was likely a spy but headed for other assignments. Who would spy on LSU back then? There was almost no way for him to stay and work here. I figured he was polishing his English.
Today, most foreign students in the US are hoping to get employed here. This is the same group that a few months ago Trump and his repeaters here were calling “quality immigrants,” folks we should try to attract, the smartest of the international community.
Now Trump has changed his message and all foreign students are bad, revoking student visas across the country, and the smartest foreigners are getting the hell out. And most folks who post here pretend that Trump is a clear consistent thinker.
It’s like Trump has trained his repeaters to have just as severe short term memory dementia as he has.
