That was one of my beefs with Trump administration. And a stick in the wheel for anyone claiming that Trump was conservative. But I knew what he was when I voted for him in 2020. He is a pragmatist, not a conservative. That being said, I'd vote for him again. Unfortunately, almost nothing has been done to stem the Democrat NGO ballot harvesting so I don't see this tide turning.

This. I love his tax cuts.

No.

I support SS reform. But, to call a program in which people are forced to pay into an entitlement is ridiculous.

Which federal programs are funded by voluntary contributions?

Yep ... you can't make this stuff up... They sound tough now, but not the 4 years Trump was in the WH.

... we were for larger deficits before we were against them.

Absolutely. A government forced “investment”. Not an entitlement.

Those people were forced to pay into it. Getting their forced “investment” is an entitlement? Please reconcile.

Anyone with just basic knowledge knows that the House holds the purse strings. Yes, the President and Senate have some say, but the brunt of spending comes from the House.

Going back to 2000, Democrats have held the House around half as often as the GOP but have presided over 2x the deficit spending of the GOP.

GOP = holds the House more often yet spends less (too much, but still less than the Democrats).

That said, anyone not a blind shill has seen conservative posters on this board blast the annual deficits for years, regardless of which part is in power.

my man. I’m all about me. Honestly, I figured you were in the estate tax level and it would be your single issue too. You’re a better man than I. I couldn’t care less about anything but my bottom line.

I had people who know what they're doing handle that.

You people are exactly like Democrats.

Because Democrats are always bitching about too much spending and the flood of illegals crossing the southern border. They’re also critical of DT for taking the knee on COVID.

As you should and I have no doubt. But doubling the exemption surely means something to you.

I’d throw my weight behind a tranny if they were anti-tax.
