I'm hoping this argument becomes more mainstream. It's such a simple and truthful takedown of reparations and the whole "African slavery was the worst thing in the history of the world" narrative.
Like seriously, what do you actually want? Surely these folks don't want us to take them back to where their ancestors were taken from. Wouldn't that actually be a "repair?"

what they REALLY want is "if you are black, you get some free money". that's what they really want. of course, even a fifth grader could absolutely shred any "logic" behind this, but that's what it boils down to, whether they admit it or not.

I just don't get it. These folks wouldn't even exist if the tribes their ancestors were fighting had simply taken the alternate course of killing them outright.
People will say "slavery wouldn't exist without a buyer," but the reality is that without a buyer these people wouldn't exist either. The African tribes who sold people into slavery would have killed their ancestors if there wasn't a slave trade.

Most people have ancestors that were indentured servants, slaves, or lived under some form of servitude. Different tribes in Africa enslaved other tribes. Don't blame whites for that. Go get money from the descendants of those tribes.
Some of the native American tribes enslaved people they conquered. Has there been a more oppressed people than the Jews? Do you hear them asking for reparations? Reparations have been going on for a long time In the form of welfare, Medicaid fraud, and free cheese.
