He just said they need the unredacted version. How does he expect them to break the law to give it to him?
He also said they are going to need Mueller in front of the committees, ad nauseum. He seems to be beating a dead horse on inconsequential minutiae, while claiming he personally has all of the evidence needed to burn this MF'er down.

This does nothing but hurt his case. There's literally nothing good that can come of this for Schiff

Barr needs to conduct his FISA investigation very quietly while Schiff continues his circus. It would be perfect cover.
After the 20th Schiff hearing resulting in nothing, the average Joe will be sick of hearing about it.

They think no one will find out about or care about their shady dealings as long as they can maintain their boisterous persona. Schiff is doing this because it's the only option he has left before it comes tumbling down.

He may be praying someone comes forth with actual proof of something or he may actually be enough of an idiot to think that continuing to try to inflate this busted tire may win votes in November.
If there was any smoking gun, it would have come out by now. This means I hope he keeps dragging this out because the more he does this, the worse he will eventually look when it all comes to a screeching halt and he has nothing more than he has now: accusations based on nothing more than evidence only he has seen.
If "Russian collusion" is a religion, it's Mormonism and Adam Schiff is John Smith.

I hope he does. We've already seen there is nothing there for Collusion and any Obstruction charge would only be subjective (ie: not actually breaking the law).
Beating a dead horse might appeal to their base but as the corpse becomes more and more of a greasy, pulpy mess the very act of continuing the beating will begin to disgust more and more of the less red-meaters. In other words, the longer this goes on with nothing to show, the more it cements a Trump re-election and possibly even a turning of the House back to red.
