So is the only defense of this board for Trump on this is that "Hillary did it too"? I haven't been following.

OK, just making sure what I'm seeing is accurate. So acting the same as Hillary is their high bar? Got it.

No. The real defense is that the law isn’t as established as the media and Democrats would have you believe.

The “thing of value” is being expanded to include opposition research which is freely offered.

Is an endorsement a “thing of value?” Based on the tortuous definition used to make oppo research a thing of value, yes. And yet foreign governments endorse our candidates all the time.

Hell. Germany donated $4M to the Clinton foundation during the election season. And I haven’t heard anyone concerned about that.

And the Trump campaign hired Cambridge Analytica, an english firm. As long as it's all reported and done out in the open neither instance is illegal.

It’s not. It’s called using logic. It’s unsurprising that you are stymied by it.

Was "Cambridge Analytica" used to secure fraudulent FISA warrants to illegally spy on the Hillary campaign?

No, and Steele wasn't used to secure fraudulent FISA warrants to illegally spy on the Trump campaign

The fact that a FISA wiretap was initiated on Carter Page in late October, AFTER he had already left the Trump campaign.

Political candidates are expected to throw dirt on each other. So idc about political spectrums putting together bullshite to try and sell to the citizens in order to win an election. It happens every election cycle.

What I do care about is..when our doj and fbi use the bullshite opp research to go after American citizens. Based on an obviously fake foreign opp research, everyone connected to trump has been dragged to DC and harassed by our government. 10s of millions of taxpayer dollars have been wasted..so that our gov can go after a political enemy of the previous regime.

If there was a legit crime to begin with, like there was with hillbitch and her private server and deleted emails. Then it wouldn't bother me. But the entire basis of going after trump was literally just an obviously bullshite foreign opp research.
