Wash Post: The quest to prove collusion is crumbling

"While everyone is fixated on President Trump’s unbecoming and inexplicable assault on Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the media has been trying to sneak away from the “Russian collusion” story. That’s right. For all the breathless hype, the on-air furrowed brows and the not-so-veiled hopes that this could be Watergate, Jared Kushner’s statement and testimony before Congress have made Democrats and many in the media come to the realization that the collusion they were counting on just isn’t there.
As the date of the Kushner testimony approached, the media thought it was going to advance and refresh the story. But Kushner’s clear, precise and convincing account of what really occurred during the campaign and after the election has left many of President Trump’s loudest enemies trying to quietly back out of the room unnoticed."

Thank you!
It's great when people are too much of a hack or too stupid to delineate a publication from an opinion, especially when it's making it clearer than necessary.

The russian collusion witch hunt would've already died months ago if Jeff Sessions didn't puss out and recuse himself when there was no single provable crime yet to be investigated.
But still Trump needs to let it go and just sit tight as it's going to take a hell of a lot to get the impeachment wheels moving and that's an absurdly high bar for Mueller to reach and its getting even higher if he can't find anything the past 3 years and is forced to go on a fishing expedition that goes back decades that has nothing to do with Russia.
You can push back on Mueller and what he's looking into but firing him is just asking for trouble that's not even worth it.

Democrats don't want the Russian controversy to be the main topic. It is hurting them get a message.
The MSM is fixed on it. If the MSM media was not fixated on Russia would there be new sanctions supported by both parties?
Probably not

You still believe in the collision narrative?

SOOOO when some hack provides a hack a opinion, like in the OP, I prefer to highlight that it's a hack opinion rather than making judgement on the same hackery.
In other words, the OP is pointless.

Yet you think your opinion is worth something. It is curious that you fail to actually address the opinion espoused in the OP's link. You simply attack the OP for linking an opinion as opposed to a "publication" as if being from a "publication" would make it any more or less informative or persuasive.
So, speaking of hacks... For clarity, here is your snarky response:

Very nice response I would have just told the little bitch to melt.

Thanks
It's almost as if his response to the OP implies that he does in fact believe in the Russian collusion story.

He was in every Russian thread trying his hardest to be "neutral"; yet it doesn't take half a brain to see that if he didn't believe it; he was, certainly, hoping for it.

Lol....I love when never trumpers like your little bitch arse melt!

I'm tired of hearing about collusion. Let there be an investigation and when it's over we can hear the results.
The investigation may not come up with collusion, but they will find something like Ken Star did with Clinton.
It seems like when the Russia story starts to die down a little the WH/Trump will put something out or make a stupid tweet.
Trump talking about Sessions in the interview gave more fuel to the fire. Trump is pissed and keeps putting the blame on others and it stays in the MSM.
With the new sanctions if Russia has any dirt on Trump it will be leaked and it will be back in the MSM.

You don't deserve the downvotes for this post, IMO.

quote:And this may be true, but you are one of the few posters who makes it obvious that you ride the wave of consensus as a measure of toughness rather than showing a willingness to support your own viewpoint when its counter to the consensus. In other words, others may be just as willing to go along with the prevailing view, but you are the one who uses it as some sort of absurd measure of masochism, when it is if fact just the opposite.
He was in every Russian thread trying his hardest to be "neutral"; yet it doesn't take half a brain to see that if he didn't believe it; he was, certainly, hoping for it.
Combined with the anonymity and your unnecessary insults, I can't think of a weaker position.

Excuse me?
I wasn't speaking to you.
Golfer gave me some great advice; and after this, I will take it and no longer respond to you.
You're fricking retarded.

quote:And the poster you were speaking to, wasn't speaking to you either, but that didn't stop you for adding your input when you know others will just happen to agree with it. Again. You've become--and maybe that's your plan--a cpt_bengal clone with your (ironically nicer) insults to whomever disagrees with the prevailing viewpoint you conveniently agree with. Unfortunately, while you may be a bit nicer, I've yet to see those serendipitous moments when you can put it all aside and provide some useful information like bengal can.
Excuse me?
I wasn't speaking to you.
quote:OK. After all of the times you've responded to me and made up some lies that I had perilously refuted, now you're going to pretend you're taking the high road.
Golfer gave me some great advice; and after this, I will take it and no longer respond to you.
quote:Maybe I am. But then again, what does that say about the person who has to consistently resort to the same argument, even when provided evidence to the contrary, and hide behind the consensus viewpoint?
You're fricking retarded.
I may be the contrarian, who gets into unnecessary arguments; HOWEVER, in the thousands of arguments I've gotten into, you're the only poster who consistently stands out as one who seems to hide behind the echo chamber--pretending it's a badge of courage.
I may not know what makes one tough on a random message board. BUT if I had to highlight someone who is antithetical to a basic level of toughness, and one of the very few trying to unnecessarily fake his way to the contrary, YOU would be the prime choice Errerrwere.
In other words, if I had to find some unnecessary try-hard, fake tough-guy lacking an original thought: you would be the first, and maybe only, choice.

So dipshit, was the fly story from the real WaPo that you defend so much?

True -
Since Mueller was appointed Special Counsel on the 'suspicion' that there 'might' have been 'collusion' between Trump campaign and Russia, why cannot we appoint a Special Prosecutor to look into Mueller's conduct on the 'suspicion' that he 'might' be conducting a 'biased' investigation???
There is as much 'evidence' to that as there was to the original 'collusion' bullshite.

Not gonna lie man
You seem angry that the thing you were hoping for isn't going to come to pass
It's a shade unreasonable to be mad at people who could CLEARLY see through you "neutral" stance. I mean. Of course they're going to call you in it.
Disingenuous posting will always anger people. Hell. Be honest. That was your goal.
Getting pissy when you actually get that reaction is just silly
