There was no real Iran plot to kill trump. They are making shite up to justify what they are already doing. Besides, the FBI only stops the plans that they thought up themselves in the first place.

When evidence proves that Iran is a threat and you don't want to believe it, just say it is all made up. You can literally use this excuse for anything.

You guys have a real hard time understanding that some people voted for Trump but don’t worship the ground he walks on.

And when you overlook the FBI’s long history of fabricating terror plots and suddenly give them credibility because it fits your narrative, you will be used as a dupe for anything.

Sure. But he was sent by Iranian officials to kill some US politicians.
The plot was uncovered by the Biden administration. That’s when they started fishing. They arrested him when he crossed the line in 2024 when efforts to keep Trump out of office were still underway.
Asif Merchant does not deny his purpose or his intent. He just claims that he did not intend to take it that far.
But he’s guilty of what he was convicted of doing and he absolutely had ties to the IRGC.
