I think, he was becoming too powerful.
He was effective. They are glad he is dead.
He was showing how ridiculous their arguments were.
Even the ones who specifically tried to sandbag him with hot polarizing questions. Through his discussions, and respectful manner, for the most part made his statements stronger, causing more people to think and even the people asking the questions, to question the very nature of the question.

I'm not left wing at all. I'm christian and vote conservative every time. Oh and I actually served overseas. Just tired sending money to Israel and Ukraine. Tired of big government. Funding big pharma, mainstream media, and outsourcing our wealth and potential.

Kirk's popularity was the biggest issue, I reckon.
I don't think it's as cut and dry as just his popularity. Sure, his popularity probably got him on more people's radar but make no mistake, it was the bold stance he took on issues that culture would deem to be blasphemous that caused this.
Put it this way, they didn't kill Charlie because he had too many followers on social media. They killed Charlie because he stood against the progressive, LGBTQRSTUV/Trans agenda.

The right the left, black vs white, jew vs muslim, gay vs straight. All labels used to divide us. The elite give you a number and wager on you like a horse. Christ told you to love yourself and love your neighbor as yourself. Or is the answer hate and war? Kill gays and liberals? Kill muslims? Another world war? Another depression.
Maybe give the gay kid a job. Buy a democrat a meal. Bring them to a real church. Teach a man to fish. Instead we send kids to war or into debt or they're hooked on drugs given by their parents and doctors. We indoctrinate them and suppress their creative potential. Nature didn't make them gay, nurture did. The system tells them to either kill or suck a dick to survive. They rather kill themselves or suck a dick on onlyfans. And then adulterers still throw stones at whores.
The west does not follow Christ. It worships satan without knowing it.

There are some decent youtubes from Democrats or non Republicans who attended the service and they had good things to say, except for Trump and Millers speeches.
