I've said it here many times. The goal of LGBQTIRW... is not legal rights. It is to become viewed as normal.
If a gay person is never denied any rights, never fired from a job for being gay, never made fun of on TV or movies, never mocked, beaten up or belittled by anyone it will not matter.
They want to be considered normal.

I don't know if "normal" is the right word. Maybe "accepted" is the right word.
They know they are different... but they don't want to be treated different.
That's what equality is.
Just like any other "group" you may have a few that want to be treated more equal than others, and be favored... but most of them just want to be left alone and want to live their life just like anyone else, without harassment and without being treated poorly.

1) Just because a man is gay doesn't mean he's in the woman's restroom.
2) Not a single female I have ever known, or known anyone to know, or have ever heard of, has found a "man" in a woman's restroom.
3) I know what I am teaching my kids. I'm sorry if you don't teach your kids, and they have to learn from elsewhere.
Word salad -
the point is that schools and businesses all over the country have to make it POSSIBLE for a man to choose which bathroom to use - and cannot PREVENT him from going into a girls bathroom.
I don't know anyone personally who has been murdered in the past 50 years either - that doesn't mean I have to ignore the laws about murder.

Agreed. Like all aspects of society nowadays, people equate twitter warriors with everyday members of society. Most are not on a crusade like those on twitter

I believe the term I kept using was “opening Pandora’s box”. Once it’s open, you never know what will fly out next. And I, like many others, was right.

There is a lot of evil in the world that doesn't impact me directly and practically.
It's such a lazy response and shows a lack of any sort of critical thinking. I've never been raped; so why should I care if we have laws against it?

It goes way before that. It started when REAL Americans sat silently by and allowed the leftist filth to start being offended by the simple phrase, "Merry Christmas" circa early 1990's........
The current SJW/Liberal/Mentally ill Prog Filth CANCER to this Republic started to metastasize into what it is today because we didn't crush the filth in the beginning.

So what happens if a man goes in a woman's bathroom and does something wrong? Don't we have laws dealing with that?
I mean... maybe we should just enforce the laws on the books, right? Just like with guns? Enforce the laws we already have?

Postmodernism infiltrating our society was the slippery slope that got this ball rolling.
When you teach people that truth is relative, words don't really mean anything, that there isn't really meaning at all, then you can say, do, and think as you wish without responsibility or judgement. This line of thinking leads to acceptance of immoral behavior which leads to acceptance of more immoral behavior.
Which "postmodern" philosopher said this? Who got the ball rolling?
