Was Chris Christie’s gastric bypass surgery a campaign expense?

Is he guilty of a felony if he didn’t disclose it as such? Didn’t he get it done to look better during 2016 primary?
If Rand Paul fixed his atrocious hair, would that be a campaign expense?
If a business owner ran for political office and decided to pay bonuses to his employees in the hope that he would get good press and boost his stock as a candidate, would that be a campaign expenditure, payable from campaign funds?
Obviously it is absurd to argue paying these with non campaign funds amounts to FEC violations.
Yet all are comparable to trump’s stormy payments
This is exactly why John Edwards never faced charges

Congessional hush money too.

Yep. One of the criteria for it to be a campaign finance infraction is that the money must have only a singular purpose and not a duel one. So Trumps payoffs to these ladies is not a campaign finance violation.

This.
I am hoping this is a set up for that to break.
We all know about it but the mindless sheeple and the Dems on this board are ignorant as to what has been going on in Congress for many years.
I think DJT is playing them including having the MSM get on board with indicting ex-presidents They all say it is going to happen to DJT for some asinine personal NDA. What about the previous ex-Presidents and what is coming to Light more and more each day?
Perfect play if you ask me.

Didn't John Edwards actually face charges and was acquitted? The Dems should learn from that.

Stop trying to influence stuff. I can do it but it's illegal when you do it.

Does anyone really think that Donald Trump would have lost support if his affairs with there ladies were public knowledge before the election anyway? His philandering was common knowledge.

Trump always plays the long game, he probably has people lined up that were paid off by democratic congressman.

Yet Crooked Hillabatch's knowingly deceived voters with the dossier funneled through a law firm and disclosed in FEC filings as legal expenses.
These were affirmative fraudulent acts which cover what the CFDA was designed to cover: COMMMUNICATIONS designed to influence.
All of your examples are good. JE was charged and acquitted of felony CFDA violations. The FEC did not fine him civilly though.
Let the Dims set the precedent of CFDA violations as a basis for removal from office. Their short-sightedness is only eclipsed by their arrogance.
