I beg to differ.
The regimes that you mention don't have or didn't have Social Media like we have today. The US electorate has their faces buried in social media 24/7 these days, and social media is dominated by Leftists.
So is Mass Media and Academia. The US FedGov is dominated by Leftists throughout its bureaucratic structure. Pop culture dominated by the Left. Pop Music and Cinema dominated by Leftists.
I have carefully considered all of the regimes that you listed and I stand by my opinion that THIS population of 2019 USA is the most heavily indoctrinated and propagandized demographic ever.
Those other regimes were and are murderous regimes and we are not. But I'm speaking of Indoctrinated populations, and IMHO, 2019 USA has them all beat.
