The VA regional office use is exceptional. The VA is not like it used to be.

There is the issue with free shite. You'll be dead before you're able to receive it. Get off your arse, get s job, have a goal and work for what you want. Nobody is entitled to anything

What’s really crazy is I met an Internist in Toronto and he told me with his practice and two urgent care clinics that he owns he makes $185k a year. He is looking to relocate to the States.

Indians are taking over that sector in Canada too.

Still not as bad as the VA.
That’s bullcrap.
From Pres Trump’s first term since, VA care has greatly improved along with much easier to get Community Care for rural vets.

Canada is probably the most interesting politically run country in the world.

Canadian government healthcare will collapse in my lifetime. And I’m not young.

Billings Montana has more hospitals than it needs. Is that wasteful? No, because Canadians fill the excess capacity.
Would you practice medicine in Canada or make much more practicing a few miles south?

If Trump really wanted to hurt Canada, he'd bar Candians from getting elective medical treatment in the US.
Better yet, force them to pay MSRP.

This is why polls of people's opinions on national health care are pretty much useless. Because when you ask the question, the people are using THEIR OWN EXPERIENCE of health care to answer.
So. You ask an American, "should we have free health care like Canada, or Europe etc etc". The answer is, "YES..........I would love to have THE HEALTHCARE I'M CURRENTLY GETTING, ONLY FREE".
When you ask a Canadian or European their opinion on the fact Americans pay for health care, they react by thinking, "you mean they PAY for this??? Because, THEIR experience is of huge waits, or, not getting the care at all".
The reality is, the ONLY PEOPLE in the US who could realistically claim to be better off under a nationalized system are those with no insurance.
And EVEN THEN, it's not as clear as you'd think because "alive and bankrupt" is STILL largely better than "dead and solvent"

Bernie and AOC want that here.

Yeah, you're right. I don't know what I'm talking about.
You show me an example in the US VA system of a 6 month wait for an MRI, or an 11 month wait to be seen by a neurosurgeon, and perhaps we can have a conversation

If only Saskatchewan, Alberta, northeastern B.C. and Yukon would join the US and create a contiguous connection to Alaska.
They could be paying $2.59 for a gallon of gas instead of $8 a liter next month, and they could be seeing a doctor by Monday midday.

Yeah, you're right. I don't know what I'm talking about. It isn't like I have had to deal with them for twenty years now. There's no way I could create an informed opinion on the Va after twenty years.
Situations vary. I have assisted the VA, worked for the VA and get seen by the VA. I have never had an issue, ever. Some people do, most don’t. If you’re expecting perfection in an imperfect world, sucks to be you.

Why is the picture of a black woman? What percentage of Canadians are black?

Ours is a system where the people with insurance pay for those that do not. Yep a shite show it is.
Sounds like the solution is for no one to have insurance then
