"I've heard young leaders talk with me about a term they've coined: 'climate anxiety,'" she told students. "Which is fear of the future and the unknown of whether it makes sense for you to even think about having children, whether it makes sense for you to think about aspiring to buy a home because what will this climate be?"
Apparently high mortgage rates is not a significant factor.

I have heard a few young people mention this "climate anxiety" as a reason they left NOLA, then they moved to Denver.....you can't fix stupid

One of the most useless people to ever occupy a government office. Makes Dan Quayle look like a Rhodes Scholar.

I'll believe them when they blame something they are getting praise over on climate change.
"Oh no, that's not us doing that, we can't take all the credit here, climate change is the reason."
You'll never hear that, and that is why it's all bull shite

Anyone that claims they aren't buying a house because of climate change was never buying one in the first place.

Anyone see or remember the thread I started the other day about what would happen to society if humans woke up one day and could no longer tell a lie...
Yeah, I'd like to see that in action. So tired of adults telling other adults complete bullshite and expect us to believe it like a 3 year old.... What's more annoying is some people actually believe the bullshite.
Life is just complete bullshite.. Everything we see is just bullshite.
bullshite.

I was meeting with some dumbass client who decided not to buy a house in a retirement community in Florida because she saw some projection that it would be underwater in 50 years due to climate change. She's 60. Their fear is palpable.

I remember when I was young and the threat of nuclear destruction made you fearful of doing adult things. Then one day you get over it and live your life.

“Climate change” will be the new Covid pandemic.

How is the housing market soft?

"I see him every day. A substantial amount of time we spend together is in the Oval Office, where I see how his ability to understand issues and weave through complex issues in a way that no one else can to make smart and important decisions on behalf of the American people have played out," she explained. "And so I will say to you that I think the American people ultimately want to know that their president delivers. And Joe Biden delivers."

I’d say it makes perfect sense for all of humanity that these people DON’T reproduce.

Except that was a real, tangible fear.

Everything was a result of:
George W...
then Racism i.e. the Obama years
then Trump
then climate change... which in turn was caused by racist Donald Trump.
Am I doing this right?

I was going to buy a new truck earlier in the year, but I decided not to. Not because the price was 80K, it was because of climate change.

“Climate change”?
Yeah, the economic climate changed thanks to her and her brain dead running mate. That fricked real estate.
