If they know who the parent's are (a big if), they should also be arrested for negligence, child neglect, contributing to the incident, etc.etc.

ecause I have a feeling the black parent in question talked a bunch of shite to the child about “respect” and “standing up for themselves” that made them think they were doing the right thing by choking a teacher the previous year and shooting one this year.

Update to my post....
The boy used his mother's gun, investigators found. While prosecutors have said the child would not face any charges, his mother was arrested earlier this month and charged with felony child neglect and recklessly leaving a loaded firearm so as to endanger a child. USA TODAY is not naming the woman in this story to protect the identity of the child. The boy has received mental health treatment in a hospital since the shooting, his family's attorney previously said.

No one gave him the gun. Like most gun criminals, he stole it. Try harder, troll.

School admin was warned by multiple people that he had a gun. They checked his bag and he had it in his hoodie pouch r pocket as he allegedly showed and threatened another kid on the playground.. when told again about the gun the admin said his pockets were to smell to hold a gun leading to him shooting the teacher.

Actually agree with the SB to some extent. 40m is fricking ridiculous.
without doing a bunch of research, the SB have probably filed some sort of motion to dismiss her civil lawsuit, for failing to state a valid “gross negligence“ claim.

The school was aware, they were absolutely negligent.

I don't know that $40M is the number, but she damn sure deserves better than worker's comp.

If someone walks into my place of employment and shoots me or anyone, then that action is now a "workplace injury" only? I have a difficult time accepting that.

Good new for her and bad news for your usually uninformed stance: there’s gross negligence.

Negligence? Sure. And those are the claims that WC was designed to address.
Gross? I will be surprised if the pleading survives the motion to dismiss … but we will see.

No one gives a frick what you think. Not your kids. Not this board. Not your neighbors. Keep throwing posts into the void.

Hank doesn't think. He just recites.
He's either afraid or not capable of trusting his own intuition to make an affirmative statement unless its in legal code.
