Ummmmm.
There are only 2 states (excluding this article) that DONT strip a felon of their right to vote. Most others have conditions in which they can regain the right. But it's far more than just 3 that do it.

That's how it was, in the past. Growing up, I knew many who'd lost their rights due to being felons. Or couldn't vote due to being on probation at the time.
Laws have since changed, and most states have provisions to restore those rights.
Now, whether those provisions are attainable or not, that's another matter, state by state.

Letting convicted criminals vote for soft-on-crime politicians doesn't sound like good policy to me. It seems like it will encourage more crime if I'm being honest.
Communist revolutionaries released criminals to terrorize the people and keep them in check. In America, conservatives will vote for it out of principle.
How in the world can letting criminals vote possibly benefit the country? Do conservatives think convicted criminals are going to turn their life around and vote for conservative politicians, despite all the evidence to the contrary?
We need stop supporting principles for the sake of principles and look at the actual real world results. Freedom is only for those who can handle it responsibly.

John Adams knew. Why do so many conservatives insist on granting Constitutional protections to people for whom it was not intended and who would destroy the Constitution if given the chance?

2) Blue States going after constitutional 2a users.
Example: Breaking local gun laws is many times a felony. There are no constitutional gun laws. It's also a federal removal of your rights to be convicted of those crimes.

Someone should sue the state to identify these non citizens on the va voter roles. If a single mail in ballot or vote is sent out or cast in their names, arrest the illegal voter, the democrat governor, any state employee involved in the settlement and the judge.

Unfortunately that is not so. There is a special reinstatement process for federal "permission" to own or purchase firearms. And if the courts decide to do so, they can prolong that process extensively so that a person can no longer afford the attorney.
It also comes down to state Red Flag Laws as well. In regards to a person getting their unconstitutionally sized property back.

I really think that is they have paid their debt to society, they should have their rights reinstated. It’s wrong to stigmatize a person for life over an incident. If they commit more crimes, they will get more incarceration and P&P time and not be able to vote.
I would exclude sex offenders from that.

I guess when you've lost a large amount of voters because they've been sent back, you need to replace them. Democrats always courting the criminal voting block.
