Brainwashing, gaslighting, and the like from mainstream media outlets to the "sheeple" that rely on disinformation to be part of a collective. In this case, the dimwitted collective of the left that is scared to fricking death that all their free shite and fricked up dismantling of this Nations culture, values, and traditions, will be put right again as it was prior to the Kenyan. Group think, and hate based solely on what someone else thinks is the parallel with those weirdos, because a majority of them are not remotely capable of a free fricking thought of their own, or possess a semblance of rationality to stand alone. It's completely fricking sad, and even though I don't agree with everything that orange fricker says, when he was POTUS, he ran this shite like a boss, and everyone in this country was better for it!

Most people are sheep. If they hear they're supposed to dislike someone, they will develop a visceral hatred for him ad be fully convinced they arrived at that conclusion by their own thought process.

My son is 22 years old and just finished his first 2 years at med school with a 3.7 GPA. My point is, he's a smart kid and shares most of my conservative views, but he wasn't a fan of Trump. Says he didn't think a President should talk the way he did...... I think alot of people think that way. I think its great, he tells it like it is.

Have we reached a point politically in this country, though, where that might be preferable to almost any other possible alternative?

So to compare it to Vivek for example, Trump is a phony in a sense, but he's...transparent about it? He doesn't really pretend (at least in any convincing way) to care about the little people other than them praising him. He lives in a gilded apartment and flies on his jet and sneers and people love him for it.

I don't think Trump is a good person and I don't think most of his supporters think so deep down. And Trump isn't that concerned with us thinking he is. So yeah, there is some semi-refreshing honesty about that I guess.

Trump doesn’t hold back with how he speaks and that enamored a lot of people but he’s also completely ignorant on most of the subjects needed to make a great government executive.

He really didn’t know what he was doing when he got in and it allowed people to easily control him.

The above point is rather different from this point (which is to what I was specifically responding), as I see it:
quote:

He saw an opening to gain an obedient following and - master self-promoter he is - tailored his political ideology to it. He moves his position not based on ideological shift but on what will gain him appreciation and glory.

I was just saying, I think an argument could be made (assuming you are correct in his motivations) that his governance (even if solely based on such motivations) was better than a lot of alternatives.

Actions are more meaningful to me than motivations - which seem like almost a pointless thing to worry about, unless they are negatively directing one's actions much more than an alternative choice.

Although, I'd probably never assume some sort of wholly pure motivations of anyone elected to public office.

While taking Disney's side and begging people to not boycott Tranny Fluid aka Bud Light.

He talks out of both sides of his mouth but you clowns ignore that.

"I'm the strongest ever on the second amendment!"

Bans bump stocks and supports Red Flag laws. (See my sig)

"They gotta go back!"

No one goes back and he negotiates on DACA while wall does not get built.

etc

etc

Advocating for jobs to remain in FLA has nothing to do with their work bs and you know that. Can you like Trump commenting on BL?

Good thing I suppose that he isn't read enough to understand the inane words and actions of past Presidents and leaders. Kids are soft.
