Bullets go up when they come out of the barrel and then fall.
Depending on if his optics were zerod at 100M or 200M or more would have a drastic impact on the level or drop the bullet was experiencing at that moment.

i get what you're saying, but you worded it wrong.
a bullet is arcing in it's trajectory because the muzzle is raised while the rear of the rifle is lowered.
the bullet doesn't magically "raise" once it leave the barrel/muzzle.
