Wrong - I said that his actions attracted the violent reaction. Both parties are shitheads as far as I'm concerned. Content matters when making speeches. Offensive remarks attract offensive reactions. Simple as that. Both are illogical.

The truth about race and a realistic way forward for our multi-racial society is somewhere right of the dominant progressive orthodoxy and left of Richard Spencer and Jared Taylor. The problem is that nobody is taking up that space, because as soon as you go right of the orthodoxy, you are branded a Nazi.
It's past time for us stop labeling everything and start thinking clearly about race.

Again, not really. This thread isn't emblematic of that. I think certainly most posters would agree that "multiculturalism" as it is defined today (by leftists) is ridiculous. And to a degree they (leftists) bear much of the responsibility for people like Richard Spencer and people who want to refer to him as something other than what he is (and post "tears" when he is identified as what he is). We are definitely, understandably in an era of a backlash against the massive leftist overreach, but guys like Spencer, who really is a fringe, inconsequential person, shouldn't be normalized as just a guy with non-conforming ideas.

The only Richard Spencer I know is the one who wrote "The Myth of Islamic Tolerance". And that is a helluva FACTUAL Book.
But I'll guess that the puncher was a Far Leftist and Spencer is Far Right. It will ALWAYS be the Left that attacks the Right...because the Left CAN NOT win in honest debate dialogue...so they get pissed at what stings their ears and throw a fit.

Im not opposed to googling anything BUT if you people are going to call out someone for being a POS, you should specifically know why. Dont link some CNN article that you havent even read, give me some quotes.
