IT still blows my mind that the POTUS has to fight his own fricking Congress to protect our borders.

It's mindblowingly stupid and pathetic.

Blows my mind too. Amazing. Congress is full on anti-American trash.

Better than nothing but this doesn't looks to be the 30' we need.

Looks more like 18'.

I thought the same thing. Looks you could find a way over without severely injuring yourself.

Anybody know how this steel is treated. Painted? Powder coated? Bare? Looks bare. But it should stand up over time. It’s in the desert not an air/seawater interface.

Could possibly be ASTM A588 steel. This is commonly known as
weathering steel or Corten steel.

The Blue Bayou Bridge over Highland Road is made of this type steel.

Where is 9th life/Aggiedub to tell us it will never be built?

They'll just say it's a fence, not a wall.

That footage is old and is part of the Secure Fence Act of 2006 and money has been appropriated in each budget for over 12 years. The $1.375 billion has been appropriated for the wall along the Rio Grande Valley. The Rio Grande Valley is the only part of the Security Fence Act that has not been completed.

It is not part of Trumps wall. Trump did not have any money appropriated for his wall in last years budget. Trump was pissed after it was not part of his first budget and said he would not sign another budget he did not like.

Sounds like a great business opportunity for an aspiring Mexican entrepreneur.

Go for it. I'm sure border patrol will be very supportive.

At the risk of being bombarded, I call B.S. There is no way 20 miles of new wall has already been completed.

And whoever thinks that height of wall will keep the illegals out, they are dreaming a bad dream.
