Elections are funny. When Republicans when we act like the entire country changed its mind and turned red. And then when Democrats win we act like the entire country changed its mind and turned blue. But actual human beings largely don't operate that way. Overwhelmingly people largely believe the same thing they believed 4 years ago in terms of their personal beliefs on a whole variety of things. The difference from one election to the next is almost always one of degree. Being unhappy with two or three things or very happy with two or three things.

I've told people who have moved here it is good to have them.
But, If they are going to be human locusts, we'll deal with that as well.

All 64 parishes didn’t shift blue. Just a quick search on the Geaux Vote app, my parish didn’t shift and the parishes around me didn’t shift. I’ve seen this chart shared by different people. It’s not an accurate chart.
