To destroy a heart simply because it’s not big enough to beat is mind-numbing.

Life begins at conception - period.

And it should be protected from that point and that point forward.

This is the same dude that literally voted against the heart bill twice in 2019 (a bill Brian Kemp signed into law amid corporate opposition) and bragged that republican support of the bill would help democrats win the Georgia House of Reps and he would be Speaker.

Well in fairness, VJ supposedly saw the light sometime in 2019.

Yeah, right about the time he was pandering to white people to get elected.

WTF does that even mean? It’s already beating. This guy doesn’t seem real comfortable with his newfound position on the issue.

It just seems that few or all politicians are not to be trusted. They just want that vote to ultimately enrich themselves.

We Georgians told y'all about VJ

Anyway, if he can actually help us I don't care what he believes

These people (including Trump) aren't heroes or thought leaders. If they can be of any service at all then use the up and discard them IMO. 95% of the time they're playing us, so let it be symbiotic if possible.

People tend to grow more pro-life as they find out more and get more in touch with their creator.

Trump was pro-abort at one time. He isn't any longer.

I just find it bizarre that people who are so convinced of widespread deep state fraud and conspiracies and manipulation at every level of government will accept that any minority espousing conservative views is a true believer.

Many of them are fakes and ambitious climbers just like everyone else in media, politics, etc.

Just checked - Vernon Jones was a Democrat until just this year, ergo, he cannot, by definition, be "Pro-Life" as that term is widely used by English speakers.

He can say he is. He is not.

I won't argue with that, but Vernon Jones is a blatant panderer from everything I've seen. Maybe I'm wrong. Time will tell.

He’s ran for the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House and DeKalb sheriff before his victory in a DeKalb-based House seat that got him into the statehouse and he was forced to not run for re-election and now he’s trying his hand at a primary of the incumbent governor.

He’s an opportunist that was a democrat just a little over a year ago and he literally bragged about becoming the democrat speaker over the abortion bill.

I agree with this.

However, my biggest problem here is that Donald Trump appears to be completely denying the reality of the demographic trajectory that Georgia is on right now and the state is where Virginia was a decade ago.

Putting up a primary challenger when democrats just sweeped the state last cycle is reckless. It’s not a ruby red state where the GOP is guaranteed to win like Wyoming with Liz Cheney being challenged.

Must not be polling at all well with pro-life, evangelical conservatives. The hypocrisy of politicians never ceases to amaze me, ever. They'll use you as a sword with one hand and as a shield with the other.
