As others have noted, el jefe maximo Fidel did this in the Mariel boatlift in 1981. The ties between Cuban intelligence and military and Venezuela are well-known and have been very close since the beginning of the Hugo Chavez regime and carry over to Maduro. I am positive this was related to Cuba. These people need to be rounded up right now, loaded on a barge, and cast adrift on the Spanish Main. The problem of course is that many Venezuelans in America (particularly in SoFla) are legitimate political and economic refugees.

Maybe they'll wipe out some of the established gangs here before they get deported by Trump.
It's going to be a big mess trying to capture all these people and get them out..ICE will be fought by local Liberal leaning police departments every step of the way. There will be a lot of detaining them for crimes and releasing them without notifying ICE.
If I was Trump I would just treat them as an invading army and use the military in conjunction with US Marshalls, Border Patrol, and ICE to round them up..
I'd also threaten to cut off Federal Funding to every City/ State that does not want to cooperate in helping ICE capture and deport them..
The sad part is, it could be a 4 year effort to clean up this mess the DEMs made, and then the next DEM that gets elected will just let the corksuckers back in the country again..

The ones released from prisons are fleeing for a variety of reasons. Some no doubt political. However it is doubtful many of them know how close we are to an authoritarian regime.

Dumping violent felons into a friendly nation should be treated as an act of war. The politicians that allowed should be up for sedition or treason or both.
