If Biden's enthusiasm problems don't matter then why is he still out making appearances and campaigning on the campaign trail? And doing solo town halls if and when debates don't work out?

Thats what it will come down to, how many people strongly support Trump vs how many people strongly oppose him.
I do not strongly oppose him personally but I also dont think he is beyond fault. He has done some great things, and some questionable ones.

And the presumption is that those who strongly oppose him will automatically vote for Biden? Is it not possible that a healthy number of people could oppose both thus vote for neither? I just have a difficult time believing that people will not require anything of Biden and give him their vote, basically site unseen, out of a severe enough hatred of Trump.

The ones that strongly oppose him will probably vote against him.
There are also a lot like me who dont strongly oppose or support him, I do hope he condemns white supremacists' next debate. I know he has done it before, but it would've been the perfect opportunity for him to do it during the first debate when everyone was watching and he didnt for some reason.
I don't think he is racist, but he needs to distance himself from the far right to get the moderate vote.

Fair enough. Of course that brings up the obvious follow up question.....Keeping in mind his prior unambiguous disavowals on video, in the event he not re-disavow at all or perhaps not in the manner expected, would that cause you (or should it anyone else) to no-vote or maybe even vote for Biden?

Hole up. So even if they're neither here nor there on Trump....Biden vote? Or just kinda dislike Trump, or just regular "I don't really like him"....all Biden votes? All the while not being particularly impressed with Biden??

Historically the voter voting FOR someone will be the more enthusiastic voter and statistically has a much better chance to actually show up and pull the lever over the voter voting AGAINST someone.
Not saying this will happen this election but historically the more enthusiastic voter voting FOR someone doesn’t need additional GOTV campaigning like the voter who is voting against the other guy and doesn’t have strong feelings towards the candidate they are voting for.

I think it's legit. You can't pride yourself on instigating and trolling people for 4 years and then be surprised when they show up en masse to attempt to vote you out.

How has Trump instigating anything?? All he does is respond to vicious attacks against him.
He is agains POLICY that he thinks is harmful to the American interests as a whole.
The only ones who are 'instigating and trolling' are the DEMs.

I am pretty sure it is still illegal for Vegas to take wagers on elections. But they can set odds. Bets are taken in offshore accounts I had Trump at +500 last year and then bet about 8 states at different odds. But unless things have changed Vegas is just putting out odds and cant take bets
