Veep needs to be Desantis

It became my prediction sometime last week. We know he’s speaking at the RNC - we just don’t know when. He talked all his donors into backing Trump.
Trump and Melania have been hanging out in NY and NJ a lot lately.
I think It’s RDS - and if it wasn’t - after yesterday- it needs to be. Put Vivek in as Chief of Staff and let’s Make America Great Again.
The Donald manages foreign policy and RDS handles domestic.
JD Vance needs to stay in the Senate and RDS is the best governor in the country.

Once he aligned himself with the Establishment scum that is Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, and the Bushes, his national political career was OVER. They made promises ($$$$) to him if he would betray Trump and he did not have the first fricking clue how HATED those filthy fricking Traitors had become to mainstream Republicans.

Wouldn’t be a bad pick.
My question: Beyond satisfying the pure curiosity of learning whom Trump ultimately selects as his running mate, does it truly matter who the VP is, from a campaign standpoint?
That’s not a dig at you, Wednesday, it’s an honest question.
I just can’t envision a situation where a particular VP selection causes someone who was originally going to vote for Trump suddenly reverse course and instead vote for Biden.
I guess the opposite could be the case—that Trump’s VP choice could pull in some Biden voters?
Guess we’ll know soon, regardless.

But he never did.
Let’s stop the infighting.

I like all of that ma’am.
I think Ron as VP and Vivek COS is great and run a Ron/ Vivek ticket in four years.

I knew you would come around.

That was the original plan but Desantis got tempted by the dark side and screwed it up.

Just let it go, man. Let it happen naturally and maybe your guy gets a second shot at this.

If Trump is going to be targeted like this, I’d sleep a LOT better at night with RDS on deck

DeSantis isn't even my choice for VP.
I was laughing at the idiocy of that post.
And now I am laughing at you as well. Idiot.

Ron, Vivek, or Vance. Men with backbone who will carry the torch if they must.

He thinks he's a mainstream republican.

Can't be unless one of them relocates. Same with Rubio.
12th Amendment prohibits POTUS and VPOTUS candidates from being from the same state.
Bush/Cheney had the same problem - both were Texas residents - but Cheney returned to Wyoming.

Trump has homes all over the place. He can claim Nevada, for instance. Big beautiful Trump Tower in Vegas.

Typically the answer is a big no. It doesn't matter. This might not be a typical election/typical time in this country.

DeSantis or Youngkin since it won’t be Vivek.

Trump can now win without a VP pick
