Have been in the process of diagnosing shoulder issues that came on randomly.

Apparently, “frozen shoulder” is a known side effect of flu and Covid vaccines.

After zero shoulder problems my entire life, randomly one then other shoulder got painful as hell. Couldn’t sleep..could barely put on a shirt. Certain motions were impossible.

Still waiting on MRI back but doc doesn’t think it is rotator cuff issues and style of almost immediate onset has him ruling out arthritis type issues.

It literally happened overnight (while sleeping) with one than the other a month later.

It was months after vaccines (had to take for trips and work) but only plausible thing I got so far.

Hopefully reversible. Currently steroids only things that make it go away.

I hope you get it figured out and recover. I also hope other issues don't creep up.

You folks that had to vax up for work, should be able to sue.

Had my flu shot last Monday and could hardly move my shoulder for five days. Bit better now.

Actually think the nurse missed my shoulder muscle and injected my flu vax into the joint.

Noticed it was a longer injection than normal. Didn’t hurt at the time but I hurt all over later that day. First time ever had a reaction to flu shot.

Had this in both shoulders at different times. For me can't necessarily link it to the flu vax.
Eventually had injections in each shoulder along with PT type exercise. In a short period of time (for each shoulder) regained full use and range of motion for each shoulder.

I had a sudden painful right shoulder. Turns out it was from shingles hitting on the back to shoulders line of nerves.

There was literally a Government fund setup for shoulder problems from
Vaccines.

Believe they passed something to have it not apply to Covid.

I am not about conspiracy BS..my shoulders just stopped working.

If you or someone you love suffered a shoulder injury after receiving a vaccine, you may have SIRVA (Shoulder Injury Related to Vaccine Administration). People who sustain SIRVA injuries may be entitled to compensation from the federal government through the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.

If it's frozen shoulder, progressive, scheduled range of motion exercises are very important. PT can provide passive motion machines, and those can be helpful. The key is taking it step-by-step or you'll re-inflame the area and set yourself back.

Mine have been over a year now. Been exploring different PT and solutions. Waiting on next round of tests. Small steroids daily have allowed me to sleep. Not a long term solution.

Oh, and the vax maybe an association, but some sort of injury/inflammation is most likely the cause. Even something like an odd sleeping position, bursitis, etc.

I never took any oral meds nor steroids for mine. If you haven't already done so, talk to your doc about the shoulder injection option in conjunction with the PT exercises. Oh and the injections do not hurt at all

Can't believe you posted this. I have the exact same thing. Is mostly in the right shoulder, started several months ago, usually happens at night. I can feel it coming on kind of like a pinch in the back of my shoulder joint and sometimes subsides, but mostly gets worse to the point of agony. I say it feels like "brain freeze" (but in my shoulder) from drinking something really cold, but it won't stop. Takes hours to subside and there is so sleeping or even finding a comfortable way to sit until it does.
Stopped for a few weeks then came back with a worse than ever.

Taking untested experimental gene therapy drugs can have serious consequences.

I hope you get well soon.

Rotator cuff issues can be subtle even w/ an MRI. Subtle does not necessarily equate to less painful. Cervical (neck) nerve compression can also mimic a shoulder issue, FYI. But the frozen shoulder dx makes that a bit less likely.

Google SIRVA - shoulder injury related to vaccine administration. I received the J&J shot in November 2021. Within a couple of days, my shoulder started hurting. I couldn't do push ups or flys when working out. Everything hurt way too much. Finally went to a local Dr in June 2022. He said he treats about 6 cases a year, mostly due to flu vaccines but seeing more related to covid. They pinpointed it as most likely caused by the injection being placed too high in the arm. He even said he personally refuses shots in the arm and insists on getting it in the hips when possoble. At that visit, I got a steroid shot and 3 months of PT. Steroid shot helped for a while, PT didn't help at all. Went back in September and got an MRI...found some issues with shoulder but nothing "major." Got a 2nd steroid shot, Dr. said come back if not 100% better by December and most likely will scope it to clean it up. I'm going back to see him 12/19.

The pain is still there. Always worse at night when trying to sleep. Have to decide now whether to get 3rd steroid shot or go ahead and scope it. I'm a little nervous scoping it...will it get better, what if it gets worse, etc...

Is there anything to the talk possibly associating shingles with the Covid-19 vax? Vague rumors that more of all ages are getting shingles than normal-- whether vax related or not?

Typically, frozen shoulder starts in one shoulder and heals with proper exercises in 8-12 months. Then it may do the same in the other shoulder, but not usually both shoulders at the same time, or even overlapping.

First shoulder happened to me in 2018. Thought for sure I had a torn rotator cuff, but Orthopedic Surgeon diagnosed it right away. Fluctuating levels of pain and shifts in the primary source of pain over about 12 months. Had two cortisone shots and did specific exercises as directed by orthopedic surgeon.

About a year after my left shoulder had healed, it started in my right shoulder. Didn't even bother going to the doctor. Knew exactly what it was and just did the same exercises as before. 12 months later I was back to normal. Very strange that it actually "works its way through" over 9-12 months. With either shoulder, if I had been arrested and had to put my hands behind my back, it would have been excruciating pain beyond description.
