The issue isn’t the map. It’s the ballot language. They really screwed up there.

You can always trust Democrats to overestimate their political capital.

Its not illegal per se, (the long slithering fingers might be) but it is the Va. State Constitution they have broke, these judges would be seen as nothing but worthless liars if they allowed this. You have to approve it in one session, then a vote has to happen like the US Mid Terms, and ONLY THEN can it take affect, in the next session. Clearly that rule, which is in the Va. Constitution was not followed. Florida, has no such rule.

Very good news. I honestly thought it was going to go the other way. Those judges looked like a bunch of wokies.

Might still go the other way, but seems hard to imagine it going the other way in time to have an effect on the midterms.
