Republicans started this latest round. Don’t get mad when you were so blatant in Texas about it.

There has never not been gerrymandering.

Why would it not be logical to "ungerrymander" a state's district??

In fact ANY district that is fashioned for ANY 'political' advance should be outlawed.

ALL districts ought to be fashioned with ZERO input from political interests.

Set up an AI program that most fairly draws districts to maximize non-political boundaries and minimize the circumference with minimum number of restraints = DONE!'

Only limiting factors should be existing state, county, city boundaries and natural features such as mountain ridges, rivers, and other waterways,

Any good programmer could do it immediately.

All people in a district would be living close to one another so regional needs would be maximized.

Because ranked choice is moronic. You don't get more efficiency and transparency by putting in a more convoluted system.

Maybe we need to start electing politicians like the NBA draft selects teams for the NBA Lottery Draft.

Each voter ranks their choice of candidate in order with your top choice getting the total number candidates running in votes. So if 5 candidates are running, top choice gets 5 entries, 4 for 2nd, and down to 1 entry for your last choice.

The winner is determined by either the candidate who has to largest total of entries or we can make it a lottery like the NBA draft and select a winner from a hat in which top vote getter would have the statistical advantage, but because it is random the lowest vote getter still has a chance since it is a drawing based system.

By the way, I am not advocating this. I am illustrating absurdity by being absurd.
