So is it possible when they wrap up, that they announce?
Could be. Hard to say as the Court operates on its own timeline. If I had to guess the decision is already made, they are just hashing out the language for the written decisions. I would have thought we'd get something yesterday evening so I would also guess we'd get something today.
But there really is no way to know. SCOTUSBlog will have the decision pretty soon after its announced. I assume most media outlets will too, maybe even before it makes it to SCOTUS' own website.

the jab
Imagine the difference in public perception if we were calling this an ‘injection’ or ‘shot’ instead of mindlessly using a friendly sounding term like ‘the jab’

I hope nobody went out yesterday and started the jab regimen based off of their lack of urgency.
I'm so against it but we get our insurance through my wife (no pics) and they will cut me unless fully vaxed or weekly testing. Weekly testing is costly and a major PIA to get done...so we vaxed for convenience sake. Second shot sheduled for 3 weeks later.
I feel like my soul was ripped out of my chest for going through with it.
Not to mention severe headaches and fever for three days following.

To jab or not to jab
My question is this: what gives the government the authority to mandate companies with more than 100 employees...in my world that appears to be rather arbitrary and discriminatory

My wife is one of 3 at her hospital that didn’t get the govt injection. The 2 others got medical exemptions. She is holding her religious exemption request until being forced to hand it over. We moved the family to my insurance. Just spent a good bit of money on residential maintenance and getting some notes paid off. We’re planning on her losing her job / nurses license.
Keep in mind she has has not had the injection, has not had a positive test, and interacts with Covid patients daily. Whatever happens, we’ll adapt and overcome but we won’t give in

There's such a big difference between a company with 99 employees vs. a company with 100 employees!
Is the "100" figure just some random number Fauci came up with over cocktails? Where does it come from?

While we are waiting on the decision, just want to highlight some absurdity from the oral arguments last week. During the oral argument one of the conservative justices was like “who is this supposed to protect? Unvaccinated people are unvaccinated because they weigh the risk themselves.” And the OSHA attorney was like “not everyone is able to be vaccinated, for medical and religious reasons…”
So according to OSHA, people who are not vaccinated for religious reasons should be protected from other unvaxxed people by mandating those unvaxxed people to get the vax. So a person who reviews the data and comes to the personal decision that the vaccine risks outweigh the benefits for themselves, and don’t necessarily have a religious reason for refusing the vax, are beholden to those who choose not to protect themselves due to the teaching of their cult.

With major share holders also holding positions in our govt. Is it even debatable who is behind the push to make everyone get a chemical injection? Do you realize what thread you’re posting in? This is completely about the govt

Maybe the recent CDC admissions on covid and the "with vs of" research they are going to differentiate are changing the ruling timeline?

No ruling yet?
This is insane that this is taking so long.

Based on a couple of the justices comments I don’t think they are that well informed

So everyone that asks for a religious exemption is a cultist? Honestly a valid religious exemption is this goes against the person’s conscience

The Court has announced that it will issue at least one opinion this Thursday, 1/13. That doesn't necessarily refer to the vaccine decisions, as there are numerous other cases that have already been heard this session. Hopefully that is not a reference to the vaccine mandate cases from Friday.
The Court has oral arguments the first three days of this week..

1/13??? SO after companies have implemented this bullshite? Thank SCOTUS. fricking useless. I love that we have people ruling us who blatantly LIE on the bench about this virus.

Most religions qualify under the general definition of “cult.”
Cult: a system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object.
I chose the word “cult” to underscore the absurdity. So much “untouchableness” is associated with “religion” that it tends to cloud people’s objective analysis of a situation.

They didn't say which cases or opinions would come out Thursday. It could very well be other, more ordinary cases from back in their October or November sittings.
I was just passing it along.
