It's politics dude, the conflict will be ended before midterms.
One can hope, but I think Russia's economy is so fricked up at the moment that things will go bad for them if they do stop the war (i.e. their entire economy is only functioning because of war spending).

Russia's war economy has caused massive labor shortages, severe inflation and a large rise in bankruptcies, it's honestly something Putin may have a hard time coming back from

My point exactly, what leverage does Trump have to end the war if Russia/Putin would be crippled if it ended.

What leg does Putin have left to stand on, he's hamstrung, Russia has enough cold era equipment to keep fricking with Ukraine endlessly, don't you think they will broker a deal where each is able to benefit from the precious material, the US and Russia? Any outcome for Ukraine is grim, I think Zelensky's one goal was for Ukraine to join Nato, and that won't happen in either of our lifetimes.

There’s zero chance Ukraine will let Russia have any minerals. Absolutely zero. If that means solely relying on Europe then they’ll try to do that which of course would mean the US gets no minerals. That’s not only a Zelenskyy thing either, your average Ukrainian isn’t going to be ok giving away their nations wealth to a country that’s routinely bombed apartments and children’s hospitals.
Also, Russia’s supplies aren’t endless. They’ve been using t55’s for a while and are now heavily relying on NK artillery (and people).
The only way I can see it ending is if the US gives security guarantees (which means NATO) but releases sanctions against Russia to keep the economy from dying.
Without those guarantees Ukraine will keep fighting, as they’ve already seen that Russia is more than happy to try and invade again without those guarantees.

With what pray tell???????
They have no weapons without the US. Those promises from the EU are just that, they have totally abandoned weapons production for the sake of social programs. You think a couple of french planes is gonna change the war. And that vaunted sudden surge in ukraine weapons inventions and production.....who the hell do you think is doing it, ukraine????
They have no people left to fight, they look like the old folks home and the youth club.
They have absolutely no economy, the US is funding their retirement plans for the country and all their civil servants.
Let them bake for a couple of months as Trump has indicated, without US aid, and we will see how that attitude adjustment works.
What cargo pants is doing to that country makes hamas look like boy scouts. Both the killing of his own people and the theft.

Is this comedy hour so late in the evening? The US govt mafia has repeatedly attempted to install the least democratic choices globally. Not to mention weak a$$ leaders who inevitably fail under their own weight.
Look at Iraq. Look at Ukraine. Look at Brasilia.
This this and this. Throw in Italy, Spain, Pakistan, and an array of others.
And Ill add, so much for promoting US commerce. They frickin helped Brazil try and destroy Musk in Brazil. And they are helping the EU fck all our dot.com/ai/apple companies.
Not for democracy, not to promote commerce for the US......but to help the global blob control everything.
And while we fck around with trans dance parties, china is having a field day throughout the world. They dominate construction in the Caribbean. You know that oil boom in Guyana, they are building the country there while we wring our hands. Its embarrassing.

Ukraine? You mean the country that has had multiple elections after Putin's puppet was overthrown (and who ran to Russia afterwards)?
Guess who's not paying attention.
In 2014 we used USAID and (State Dept: Victoria Nulen to be exact) to coup the regime. Why? So that our corrupt politicians could sink their teeth on some easy money laundering operations through oil deals, BUT ALSO to further to communicate the implied threat that Russia would be an adversary to the globalist movement. NATO has been actively trying to push buffer countries into their sphere of influence in order to punish Russia for not playing nice with the globalist banking system. You worry about Putin's so called puppet. We installed a Biden puppet, through a F**king color revolution! Watch the 2-part Ukraine on Fire documentary from Oliver Stone and check your opinion then. Since 2014, thousands of Ukraine civilians were murdered by the American puppet regime in the name of flushing out ethnic Russians from the east side of the Ukraine. Oh and in the Russian invasion, they also used the same civilians to act as human shields to limit Russia's ability to orchestrate their revenge against a NATO who reneged at the agreement to keep the Ukraine as a buffer state. Sounds like Al Queda and ISIS doesn't it? That's because it's the same f**cking outfit that OUR politicians have supported! Post less.

You guys are pretty naive if you don't think Russia and China are doing the exact same thing. Every country with any means is doing whatever they can to influence other countries. I can guarantee you that the above two countries aren't going to stop, so if we do then we are in trouble.
Maybe so but I think most of our country is learning that our government has been doing it promoting a horrific and disgusting authoritarian radical leftist agenda that does NOT represent the views or goals of U.S. citizens nor the principles of this republic.
What’s even worse is we our learning our own government has been doing it here to us as well.

FIFY, but yes, you are essentially correct.
It's like the Ryan Reynolds/Blake Lively/Taylor Swift exposure that's happening. They have these reputations for being such nice, "Aw shucks" people, while a handful of folks who have operated closely with them have been saying (to much criticism) that it's all an act.
The only thing worse than being a bad person and being open about it is being a bad person and staking your entire career on the exact opposite of that.
That's been the US for the past hundred years, at least.

Who was Prime Minister of GB when VJ Day occurred?
Who was VP of the US from '41-'44? Who was VP in '45? How'd that happen?
You realize that the US had an election in 1864 in the middle of a civil war?
