The NYT in their daily newsletter never mentioned gender. No "he," "she," or "them." They simply referred to "an attacker."

Is this nonsense even a sentence? Differences between biological sexes are not confined to genitalia no matter how loudly you squeal that they are. Men and women will never be interchangeable.
