People who don't have traditional Western Euro Christian American roots may not understand/like that, but doesn't change how engrained protecting The Holy Land is for us. Things do need to get better for Christians there, so hopefully that's a part of the plan after they get rid of the rift raft.

Just offer compensation for war loss of housing and business that can only be accepted in one of several dispersed locations in more distant Muslim countries.

I'm looking at my 5 month old grandaughter on my living room floor right now, thinking of some grandparent running around Gaza being chased by American bombs searching for food for their grandaughter, and it does more than strike a fricking nerve.

The bible is very clear on Israelites and their right to Israel. Even if you are a atheist, Israel is one of the best allies to the US - they support us in the UN, they are on the frontline against jihadists, and they have relatively equal trade with us.
Edit: And yes, AIPAC needs to be banned. No foreign money should be influencing our politics

Why is my family more important than someone's family who resided in a land that some group wanted to go start their nation in? Why does my country need to help another group go kill people to take their land?
Btw, my I always thought it was proper to capitalize the B in Bible, back when I believed it.
And we wouldn't need Israel to be on "the front lines" of anyone if we weren't helping them make enemies. Israel probably wouldn't exist, and those other folks wouldn't be our enemies if we weren't aiding Israel.
How about starting a ban AIPAC thread? Let's get traction where we agree.

Yeah that would work for me too. Sucks innocents get hurt. Wish they had a moral respect for them, and didn't hide behind them as a part of their war plan. Unfortunately, we can't tip tie around that.
